ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR DALAM NOVEL KEMBARA RINDU KARYA HABIBURRAHMAN EL SHIRAZY
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui jenis tindak tutur lokusi yang terdapat dalam novel Kembara Rindu Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy, (2) mengetahui jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam novel Kembara Rindu karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy, (3) mengetahui jenis tindak tutur perlokusi yang terdapat dalam novel Kembara Rindu karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskripstif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa tuturan antar tokoh dalam novel, dan sumber data yaitu novel Kembara Rindu Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi dan teknik pencatatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga bentuk tindak tutur lokusi dalam novel Kembara Rindu karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Tindak tutur tersebut adalah: (1) lokusi bentuk pernyataan, (2) lokusi bentuk pertanyaan, dan (3) lokusi bentuk perintah. Terdapat lima macam tindak tutur ilokusi dalam novel Kembara Rindu yaitu ilokusi asertif dengan maksud menyatakan, menyarankan, dan melaporkan, (2) ilokusi direktif dengan maksud memerintah, memohon, memesan, (3) ilokusi ekspresif dengan maksud berterima kasih, memohon maaf, menyalahkan, memuji, (4) ilokusi komisif dengan maksud menjanjikan, menawarkan, (5) ilokusi deklarasi dengan maksud menjatuhkan hukuman. Penggunaan Media Teknologi Artificial Intelligence Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berbahasa Arab Di PPM Rahmatul Asri
This thesis discusses the use of Artificial Intelligence technology media in improving Arabic language skills at Rahmatul Asri Islamic Modern Boarding School. This research aims to explore the differences in improving Arabic language skills between the use of Artificial Intelligence technology media and the use of Power Point media or conventional learning media as a comparison. The research used a Quasi Experimental method with a two group pretest-posttest design, involving 56 samples of students from classes X and XI MA PPM Rahmatul Asri. Data was collected through Arabic language proficiency tests before and after treatment. The results showed a significant increase in the students' Arabic language skills. The average learning outcome score based on the students' pre-test (72.00) increased to (88.86) based on the average post-test score after treatment. Data analysis using the t-test shows that this increase is significant, with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates that this difference did not occur by chance. The conclusion of this research is that the use of Artificial Intelligence technology media is effective in improving students' Arabic language skills. Interactive and interesting learning media has been proven to be able to create a more active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. It is recommended that this method be applied more widely in other Islamic boarding schools, and that teachers be given training to optimize the use of Artificial Intelligence media in learning
A hybrid unsupervised approach toward EEG epileptic spikes detection
Epileptic spikes are complementary sources of information in EEG to diagnose and localize the origin of epilepsy. However, not only is visual inspection of EEG labor intensive, time consuming, and prone to human error, but it also needs long-term training to acquire the level of skill required for identifying epileptic discharges. Therefore, computer-aided approaches were employed for the purpose of saving time and increasing the detection and source localization accuracy. One of the most important artifacts that may be confused as an epileptic spike, due to morphological resemblance, is eye blink. Only a few studies consider removal of this artifact prior to detection, and most of them used either visual inspection or computer-aided approaches, which need expert supervision. Consequently, in this paper, an unsupervised and EEG-based system with embedded eye blink artifact remover is developed to detect epileptic spikes. The proposed system includes three stages: eye blink artifact removal, feature extraction, and classification. Wavelet transform was employed for both artifact removal and feature extraction steps, and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system for classification purpose. The proposed method is verified using a publicly available EEG dataset. The results show the efficiency of this algorithm in detecting epileptic spikes using low-resolution EEG with least computational complexity, highest sensitivity, and lesser human interaction compared to similar studies. Moreover, since epileptic spike detection is a vital component of epilepsy source localization, therefore this algorithm can be utilized for EEG-based pre-surgical evaluation of epilepsy
Randomized controlled trial of a good practice approach to treatment of childhood obesity in Malaysia: Malaysian childhood obesity treatment trial (MASCOT)
Context. Few randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of interventions for the treatment of childhood obesity have taken place outside the Western world. Aim. To test whether a good practice intervention for the treatment of childhood obesity would have a greater impact on weight status and other outcomes than a control condition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Methods. Assessor-blinded RCT of a treatment intervention in 107 obese 7- to 11-year olds. The intervention was relatively low intensity (8 hours contact over 26 weeks, group based), aiming to change child sedentary behavior, physical activity, and diet using behavior change counselling. Outcomes were measured at baseline and six months after the start of the intervention. Primary outcome was BMI z-score, other outcomes were weight change, health-related quality of life (Peds QL), objectively measured physical activity and sedentary behavior (Actigraph accelerometry over 5 days). Results. The intervention had no significant effect on BMI z score relative to control. Weight gain was reduced significantly in the intervention group compared to the control group (+1.5 kg vs. +3.5 kg, respectively, t-test p < 0.01). Changes in health-related quality of life and objectively measured physical activity and sedentary behavior favored the intervention group. Conclusions. Treatment was associated with reduced rate of weight gain, and improvements in physical activity and quality of life. More substantial benefits may require longer term and more intensive interventions which aim for more substantive lifestyle changes
Studi Awal Estimasi Dosis Internal 177lu-dota Trastuzumab pada Manusia Berbasis Uji Biodistribusi pada Mencit
STUDI AWAL ESTIMASI DOSIS INTERNAL 177Lu-DOTA TRASTUZUMAB PADA MANUSIA BERBASIS UJI BIODISTRIBUSI PADA MENCIT. Radiofarmaka baru untuk pengobatan penyakit kanker payudara tipe HER-2, 177Lu-DOTA Trastuzumab, telah berhasil diproduksi oleh Pusat Teknologi Radioisotop dan Radiofarmaka (PTRR) BATAN. Demi keamanan produk dan keselamatan pasien, radiofarmaka baru tersebut perlu dilengkapi dengan data studi dosis internal yang dilakukan setelah uji praklinis pada hewan coba selesai. Oleh karena itu, studi ini bertujuan untuk melakukan estimasi dosis pada pasien yang dihitung berdasarkan data uji biodistribusi pada mencit. Studi Uji biodistribusi dilakukan pada 25 ekor mencit dan diamati biodistribusinya pada organ-organ, diantaranya otak, Perut, usus, jantung , ginjal, hati, paru-paru, otot, tulang, limpa dan kandung kemih. Pengamatan cacahan organ dilakukan pada jam ke 1, 2, 3, 4, 24, 48 pasca injeksi radiofarmaka 177Lu DOTA-Trastuzumab sebesar 100mCi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji biodistribusi adalah % ID/gram organ tikus, kemudian dilakukan konversi perhitungan ke % ID/gram organ manusia. Untuk mengestimasi dosis ke manusia, hasil %ID/gram organ tersebut dipakai sebagai input pada software dosimetri internal OLINDA/EXM, dengan cara melakukan plotting %ID/gram versus waktu, yang akan menghasilkan residence time di masing-masing organ. Setelah residence time diperoleh, dosis internal radiasi pada masing-masing organ dan seluruh tubuh dapat diketahui. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa tiga organ yang memiliki dosis internal tertinggi 177Lu DOTA Trastuzumab adalah : paru-paru, hati dan ovarium dengan dosis masing-masing 0,063; 0,046 dan 0,025 mSv/MBq. Disimpulkan bahwa hasil estimasi dosis internal radiasi total yang diperoleh manusia pada penyuntikan radiofarmaka 177Lu-DOTA Trastuzumab adalah 0.21 mSv/MBq
Mortality from gastrointestinal congenital anomalies at 264 hospitals in 74 low-income, middle-income, and high-income countries: a multicentre, international, prospective cohort study
Background: Congenital anomalies are the fifth leading cause of mortality in children younger than 5 years globally. Many gastrointestinal congenital anomalies are fatal without timely access to neonatal surgical care, but few studies have been done on these conditions in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs). We compared outcomes of the seven most common gastrointestinal congenital anomalies in low-income, middle-income, and high-income countries globally, and identified factors associated with mortality. // Methods: We did a multicentre, international prospective cohort study of patients younger than 16 years, presenting to hospital for the first time with oesophageal atresia, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, intestinal atresia, gastroschisis, exomphalos, anorectal malformation, and Hirschsprung's disease. Recruitment was of consecutive patients for a minimum of 1 month between October, 2018, and April, 2019. We collected data on patient demographics, clinical status, interventions, and outcomes using the REDCap platform. Patients were followed up for 30 days after primary intervention, or 30 days after admission if they did not receive an intervention. The primary outcome was all-cause, in-hospital mortality for all conditions combined and each condition individually, stratified by country income status. We did a complete case analysis. // Findings: We included 3849 patients with 3975 study conditions (560 with oesophageal atresia, 448 with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, 681 with intestinal atresia, 453 with gastroschisis, 325 with exomphalos, 991 with anorectal malformation, and 517 with Hirschsprung's disease) from 264 hospitals (89 in high-income countries, 166 in middle-income countries, and nine in low-income countries) in 74 countries. Of the 3849 patients, 2231 (58·0%) were male. Median gestational age at birth was 38 weeks (IQR 36–39) and median bodyweight at presentation was 2·8 kg (2·3–3·3). Mortality among all patients was 37 (39·8%) of 93 in low-income countries, 583 (20·4%) of 2860 in middle-income countries, and 50 (5·6%) of 896 in high-income countries (p<0·0001 between all country income groups). Gastroschisis had the greatest difference in mortality between country income strata (nine [90·0%] of ten in low-income countries, 97 [31·9%] of 304 in middle-income countries, and two [1·4%] of 139 in high-income countries; p≤0·0001 between all country income groups). Factors significantly associated with higher mortality for all patients combined included country income status (low-income vs high-income countries, risk ratio 2·78 [95% CI 1·88–4·11], p<0·0001; middle-income vs high-income countries, 2·11 [1·59–2·79], p<0·0001), sepsis at presentation (1·20 [1·04–1·40], p=0·016), higher American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score at primary intervention (ASA 4–5 vs ASA 1–2, 1·82 [1·40–2·35], p<0·0001; ASA 3 vs ASA 1–2, 1·58, [1·30–1·92], p<0·0001]), surgical safety checklist not used (1·39 [1·02–1·90], p=0·035), and ventilation or parenteral nutrition unavailable when needed (ventilation 1·96, [1·41–2·71], p=0·0001; parenteral nutrition 1·35, [1·05–1·74], p=0·018). Administration of parenteral nutrition (0·61, [0·47–0·79], p=0·0002) and use of a peripherally inserted central catheter (0·65 [0·50–0·86], p=0·0024) or percutaneous central line (0·69 [0·48–1·00], p=0·049) were associated with lower mortality. // Interpretation: Unacceptable differences in mortality exist for gastrointestinal congenital anomalies between low-income, middle-income, and high-income countries. Improving access to quality neonatal surgical care in LMICs will be vital to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3.2 of ending preventable deaths in neonates and children younger than 5 years by 2030
Bioreactor for microalgal cultivation systems: strategy and development
Microalgae are important natural resources that can provide food, medicine, energy and various bioproducts for nutraceutical, cosmeceutical and aquaculture industries. Their production rates are superior compared to those of terrestrial crops. However, microalgae biomass production on a large scale is still a challenging problem in terms of economic and ecological viability. Microalgal cultivation system should be designed to maximize production with the least cost. Energy efficient approaches of using light, dynamic mixing to maximize use of carbon dioxide (CO2) and nutrients and selection of highly productive species are the main considerations in designing an efficient photobioreactor. In general, optimized culture conditions and biological responses are the two overarching attributes to be considered for photobioreactor design strategies. Thus, fundamental aspects of microalgae growth, such as availability of suitable light, CO2 and nutrients to each growing cell, suitable environmental parameters (including temperature and pH) and efficient removal of oxygen which otherwise would negatively impact the algal growth, should be integrated into the photobioreactor design and function. Innovations should be strategized to fully exploit the wastewaters, flue-gas, waves or solar energy to drive large outdoor microalgae cultivation systems. Cultured species should be carefully selected to match the most suitable growth parameters in different reactor systems. Factors that would decrease production such as photoinhibition, self-shading and phosphate flocculation should be nullified using appropriate technical approaches such as flashing light innovation, selective light spectrum, light-CO2 synergy and mixing dynamics. Use of predictive mathematical modelling and adoption of new technologies in novel photobioreactor design will not only increase the photosynthetic and growth rates but will also enhance the quality of microalgae composition. Optimizing the use of natural resources and industrial wastes that would otherwise harm the environment should be given emphasis in strategizing the photobioreactor mass production. To date, more research and innovation are needed since scalability and economics of microalgae cultivation using photobioreactors remain the challenges to be overcome for large-scale microalgae production
