The paper presents an example of the use of total stations in combination with GNSS technology in order to obtain the topo-cadastral documentation of the first registration in the Land Book of a property. The elaboration of the documentation for a building located in Craiova, Brestei Street was studied. The building is composed of urban land with the category of use courtyards on which two constructions are built, one with the residential destination and the other with the annex destination. At the basis of the elaboration of the cadastral documentation were the measurements performed with the total station Trimble 3300 and the GNSS receiver Topcon GR3

THE EFFECTS OF WASTEWATER IRRIGATION ON AGRICULTURAL SOILS

In arid and semi-arid areas, wastewater is often recovered for crop irrigation, contributing to the sustainable agriculture. Although positive effects have been observed on crop yields (50-80% growth) due to wastewater nutrients, the reuse of untreated wastewater harms both the environment and human health. Soil is mostly affected by excess salts, sodium, nutrients and heavy metals in wastewater. High salinity affects the upper layer of soil (0–30 cm); sodium and chlorine reduce crop yields by 40%; high content of organic matter in wastewater decreases soil pH, and heavy metals and pathogens enter the food chain. Irrigation technology is also important: sodium and salinity are higher in sprinkler than in furrow or subsurface irrigation; subsurface drip irrigation is more effective in reducing soil pathogens than surface drip irrigation. This paper examines the effects of wastewater irrigation on soil salinity, sodium, heavy metals and pathogen contamination

The present paper addresses a very complex and difficult research topic, but of great current importance and wide applicability in practice. We affirm this because it is very well known that the road and rail infrastructure 30 years after the revolution is in a very precarious state, we can say very sad, because its rehabilitation and modernization has been done at a very slow pace. Therefore, the working team considered that approaching such a topic of great interest, is beneficial first of all for the practice, since the volume of works of such nature must increase considerably in the future and not lastly it is very valuable from the academic and scientific point of view. In order to solve the thematic approach, the working team used the latest and topographic devices and programs for processing the measured data, which allowed to obtain relevant and very correct results. The working methodology was perfectly adapted to the objective pursued, the situation existing on the ground and the precision imposed by the beneficiary, an aspect that led to obtaining a high execution efficiency of the works, but also to a high economic efficiency, because the time of execution, the volume of works and the number of personnel was greatly reduced

The purpose of the work is to produce the technical documentation necessary to prepare the design and execution of all the construction works, which will be executed for the modernization and rehabilitation of the road taken in the study. In this sense, the work team carried out a preliminary topographic study based on which an overview of the situation existing on the field was formed, which also offered the possibility of the designer choosing the most suitable design and execution solutions. Topo-geodesic works were performed using the combined GPS-total station method, using modern equipment that ensured high accuracy and high economic efficiency. The final documentation obtained is of the highest technical and scientific level, respecting all the norms and requirements of precision and quality imposed by the regulations and laws in force, such engineering works, these being verified and approved by OCPI-Mehedinti
