Cretaceous ammonites from South Sakhalin held at the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, Tohoku University. Sendai are described. Among the 15 species, 12 are of Maastrichtian and/or Campanian age. Very few of the specimens from the late Dr. Saburo Shimizu\u27s Collection are outstanding and the majority of the material for his 1935a work in Shanghai is regrettably missing

Three species of ammonites from the upper part of the Fujikawa Formation of Shikoku are described. They are Hypophylloceras yeharai n. sp., Mariella sp. aff. M. cantabrigiensis ( JUKES-BROWNE), and Desmoceras (Pseudouhligella) dawsoni shikokuense (YABE and SHIMIZU). On the basis of the described species and also of a revised stratigraphic observation, the fossiliferous part of the Fujikawa Formation is referred to the Albian, probably Upper Albian
