Effect of electric field inhomogeneity on kinetic Alfven wave in an inhomogeneous magnetosphere
The effect of electric field in-homogeneity perpendicular to the ambient magnetic field on Kinetic Alfven waves in the presence of ion and electron beam velocities are investigated. In the present study we have adopted the particle aspect approach to investigate the trajectories of charged particles in the electromagnetic field of a kinetic Alfven wave. Expressions are derived for the field-aligned current, the perpendicular current and the dispersion relation. Energy conservation method was used to obtain the growth/damping rate of the wave. The effect of inhomogeneity of electric field and electron and ion beam velocities are discussed. In present study, we assumed that the plasma is an anisotropic and with low-β. The results are discussed for the space plasma parameter appropriate to the auroral acceleration region of the earth’s magnetosphere
Five Dimensional Cosmological Models in General Relativity
A Five dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time is considered in the presence of a
perfect fluid source with variable G and . An expanding universe is
found by using a relation between the metric potential and an equation of
state. The gravitational constant is found to decrease with time as whereas the variation for the cosmological constant follows as

where is the equation of state parameter and is the scale factor.Comment: 13 pages, 4 figures, accepted in Int. J. Theor. Phy
Worm blobs as entangled living polymers:From topological active matter to flexible soft robot collectives
Recently, the study of long, slender living worms has gained attention due to their unique ability to form highly entangled physical structures, exhibiting emergent behaviors. These organisms can assemble into an active three-dimensional soft entity referred to as the “blob”, which exhibits both solid-like and liquid-like properties. This blob can respond to external stimuli such as light, to move or change shape. In this perspective article, we acknowledge the extensive and rich history of polymer physics, while illustrating how these living worms provide a fascinating experimental platform for investigating the physics of active, polymer-like entities. The combination of activity, long aspect ratio, and entanglement in these worms gives rise to a diverse range of emergent behaviors. By understanding the intricate dynamics of the worm blob, we could potentially stimulate further research into the behavior of entangled active polymers, and guide the advancement of synthetic topological active matter and bioinspired tangling soft robot collectives.</p
Bianchi Type III Anisotropic Dark Energy Models with Constant Deceleration Parameter
The Bianchi type III dark energy models with constant deceleration parameter
are investigated. The equation of state parameter is found to be time
dependent and its existing range for this model is consistent with the recent
observations of SN Ia data, SN Ia data (with CMBR anisotropy) and galaxy
clustering statistics. The physical aspect of the dark energy models are
discussed.Comment: 12 pages, 2 figures, Accepted version of IJT
A comprehensive analysis of Trehalose-6-phosphate synthase (TPS) gene for salinity tolerance in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)
Soil salinity affects various crop cultivation but legumes are the most sensitive to salinity. Osmotic stress is the first stage of salinity stress caused by excess salts in the soil on plants which adversely affects the growth instantly. The Trehalose-6-phosphate synthase (TPS) genes play a key role in the regulation of abiotic stresses resistance from the high expression of different isoform. Selected genotypes were evaluated to estimate for salt tolerance as well as genetic variability at morphological and molecular level. Allelic variations were identified in some of the selected genotypes for the TPS gene. A comprehensive analysis of the TPS gene from selected genotypes was conducted. Presence of significant genetic variability among the genotypes was found for salinity tolerance. This is the first report of allelic variation of TPS gene from chickpea and results indicates that the SNPs present in these conserved regions may contribute largely to functional distinction. The nucleotide sequence analysis suggests that the TPS gene sequences were found to be conserved among the genotypes. Some selected genotypes were evaluated to estimate for salt tolerance as well as for comparative analysis of physiological, molecular and allelic variability for salt responsive gene Trehalose-6-Phosphate Synthase through sequence similarity. Allelic variations were identified in some selected genotypes for the TPS gene. It is found that Pusa362, Pusa1103, and IG5856 are the most salt-tolerant lines and the results indicates that the identified genotypes can be used as a reliable donor for the chickpea improvement programs for salinity tolerance
New polarimetric constraints on axion-like particles
We show that the parameter space of axion-like particles can be severly
constrained using high-precision measurements of quasar polarisations. Robust
limits are derived from the measured bounds on optical circular polarisation
and from the distribution of linear polarisations of quasars. As an outlook,
this technique can be improved by the observation of objects located behind
clusters of galaxies, using upcoming space-borne X-ray polarimeters.Comment: Submitted to JCA
Seismology of the Sun : Inference of Thermal, Dynamic and Magnetic Field Structures of the Interior
Recent overwhelming evidences show that the sun strongly influences the
Earth's climate and environment. Moreover existence of life on this Earth
mainly depends upon the sun's energy. Hence, understanding of physics of the
sun, especially the thermal, dynamic and magnetic field structures of its
interior, is very important. Recently, from the ground and space based
observations, it is discovered that sun oscillates near 5 min periodicity in
millions of modes. This discovery heralded a new era in solar physics and a
separate branch called helioseismology or seismology of the sun has started.
Before the advent of helioseismology, sun's thermal structure of the interior
was understood from the evolutionary solution of stellar structure equations
that mimicked the present age, mass and radius of the sun. Whereas solution of
MHD equations yielded internal dynamics and magnetic field structure of the
sun's interior. In this presentation, I review the thermal, dynamic and
magnetic field structures of the sun's interior as inferred by the
helioseismology.Comment: To be published in the proceedings of the meeting "3rd International

Statefinder Parameters for Different Dark Energy Models with Variable G Correction in Kaluza-Klein Cosmology
In this work, we have calculated the deceleration parameter, statefinder
parameters and EoS parameters for different dark energy models with variable
correction in homogeneous, isotropic and non-flat universe for Kaluza-Klein
Cosmology. The statefinder parameters have been obtained in terms of some
observable parameters like dimensionless density parameter, EoS parameter and
Hubble parameter for holographic dark energy, new agegraphic dark energy and
generalized Chaplygin gas models.Comment: 9 pages, no figure, accepted for publication in IJTP. arXiv admin
