Evaluation of Lake’s Svityaz Ecological Condition by Vegetation Complexes of Aqualtic Biotopes Several Years’ Dynami

Типізація біотопів фіталі оз. Світязь та ретроспективний аналіз космічних знімків дали змогу оцінити трансформацію літорального макрофітного комплексу протягом 25-річного періоду (1988–2012 рр.). Направ-леність цих процесів свідчить про перебудови фітоценозів макрофітів, зменшення площ природних рослинних угруповань, посилення деградації зарослої зони озера та евтрофікацію водойми. A comparison of the thermal conditions in the centre and suburbs of Lublin

In this paper the difference between the thermal conditions in the centre of Lublin and its suburbs is analysed. The mean values of the differences in minimal, maximal and mean daily temperature are calculated and their statistical significance is investigated. Also analysed is the influence of air mass types. The sol-gel method for preparation of polysiloxane xerogels containing carboxylic functionality

A procedure has been developed for synthesis of new polysiloxane xerogels with propionic and butyric acid-type groups. Економічне обґрунтування розвитку малих вертикально диверсифікованих підприємств з виробництва свинини в Україні

Implementing the vertical diversification strategy for pig-breeding enterprises in Ukraine is one of the factors in increasing their economic efficiency and competitiveness. Mastering the following interrelated links of production and sale in animal husbandry increases enterprises' financial stability and economic security. The article economically substantiates the expediency of capital investments in developing vertically diversified pork production enterprises in Ukraine. The need for investments for the formation of fixed and working capital for the implementation of the project has been determined. The main operating costs for the organization of pig breeding, slaughter, and the sale of meat through the direct sales channel in the amount of 200 tons per year have been calculated. Planning of workforce needs for project implementation has been carried out. The leading indicators of the economic efficiency of capital investments for the production and sale of pork in the newly established enterprise have been determined. According to the study results, the relatively high investment attractiveness of developing small vertically diversified pork production enterprises in Ukraine with an orientation to local markets is substantiated. It has been established that for the implementation of the proposed project, about 1.1 million euros of advanced capital is needed, which is expected to pay off in 3.5 years. The project's five-year net present value has been determined to reach 690,000 euros at a discount rate of 2%. Accordingly, the projected internal rate of return will exceed 26%. The average annual net profit during the project implementation period will be 268 thousand euros, with an average operating cost of 457 thousand euros, allowing us to achieve 65% profitability of production and 32% profitability of pork sales. The projected average net return on capital for the project implementation period is expected to be 35%. The development of vertical diversification in small pork production enterprises in Ukraine will increase the added value and productivity of the involved financial, labor, material, and technical resources.Реалізація стратегії вертикальної диверсифікації для підприємств свинарства України є одним із чинником підвищення їх економічної ефективності та конкурентоспроможності. Освоєння наступних взаємопов’язаних ланок виробництва та реалізації у тваринництві сприяє підвищенню фінансової стійкості та економічної безпеки підприємств. У статті економічно обґрунтовано доцільність капіталовкладень у розвиток вертикально диверсифікованих підприємств з виробництва свинини в Україні. Визначено потребу в інвестиціях для формування основного та оборотного капіталу для реалізації проекту. Розраховано основні статті операційних витрат для організації вирощування свиней, їх забою та реалізації м’яса за прямим каналом продажу в обсязі 200 т на рік. Проведено планування потреб в трудових ресурсах для реалізації проекту. Визначено основні показники економічної ефективності капіталовкладень для виробництва та реалізації свинини у новоствореному підприємстві. За результатами дослідження обґрунтовано відносно високий рівень інвестиційної привабливості розвитку малих вертикально диверсифікованих підприємств з виробництва свинини в Україні з орієнтацією на місцеві ринки. Встановлено, що для реалізації запропонованого проекту необхідно близько 1,1 млн євро авансованого капіталу, який прогнозовано окупиться за 3,5 роки. Визначено чисту приведену вартість проекту за 5 років, яка досягне 690 тис. євро при ставці дисконту 2%. Відповідно прогнозований рівень внутрішньої норми прибутковості досягне 26,4%. Середньорічна сума чистого прибутку за період реалізації проекту перевищить 268 тис. євро, при середньому рівні операційних витрат 457 тис. євро, що дозволить досягнути 65% рентабельності виробництва та 32% рентабельності продажу свинини. Прогнозований середній рівень чистої рентабельності капіталу за період реалізації проекту очікується на рівні 35%. Розвиток вертикальної диверсифікації у малих підприємствах з виробництва свинини в Україні сприятиме підвищенню доданої вартості та продуктивності залучених фінансових, трудових та матеріально-технічних ресурсів

Stephanopachys linearis (Kugelann, 1792) (Coleoptera, Bostrichidae) in Poland

Stephanopachys linearis (Kugelann, 1792) belongs to the family of horned powderpost beetles (Bostrichidae), represented in the fauna of Europe by 29 native species. It is a characteristic element of the northern, boreal zone of the Palaearctic and alpine areas of central and southern Europe. This species as a rare beetle important for the European Union, has been placed in Annex II of the Habitats Directive, on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and European Red List of Saproxylic Beetles. S. linearis was described from Poland in 1792 and, after 220 years, again encountered in this country. The zoogeographical distribution is shown and elements of its biology and ecology are discussed

КРІОХІРУРГІЯ ГІПЕРПЛАСТИЧНИХ ЗАХВОРЮВАНЬ ЕНДОМЕТРІЯ

Patients suffering from pretumour diseases of endometrium have complicated somatical and obstetrical anamnesis such as disorders of system of hemostasis, that leads to high risk of thromboembolitic complications (TEC ). Alternative to hormonal and surgical treatment of these patients we consider to be the use of organopreserving endocryosurgical treatment of hyperplastic diseases of endometrium. Effectiveness of (clinical, morphological, ultrasonical), cryosurgical therapy made up 95,9 %; prevention of TEC - 100% cases.Больные, которые страдают предопухолевыми заболеваниями эндометрия имеют отягощенный соматический и акушерско-гинекологический анамнез, нарушения системы гемостаза, что обуславливает повышенный риск тромбоэмболических осложнений (ТЭО). Альтернативой гормональному и хирургическому лечению данных пациенток считаем использование органосохраняющего эндокриохирургического лечения гиперпластических заболеваний эндометрия. Эффективность (клиническая, морфологическая, ультразвуковая) криохирургического лечения составила 95,9%, профилактики ТЭО - 100% случаевХворі, які страждають передпухлинними захворюваннями ендометрія, мають обтяжений соматичний і акушерсько-гінекологічний анамнез, порушення системи гемостазу, що обумовлює підвищений ризиктромбоемболічнихускладнень (ТЕУ). Альтернативою гормональному і хірургічному лікуванню даних пацієнток вважаемо застосування органозберігаючого ендокріохірургічного лікування гіперпластичних захворювань ендометрія. Ефективність (клінічна, морфологічна, ультразвукова) кріохірургічного лікування становила 95,9%, профілактики ТЕУ - 100% випадків

I. Flux and color variations of the quadruply imaged quasar HE 0435-1223

aims: We present VRi photometric observations of the quadruply imaged quasar HE 0435-1223, carried out with the Danish 1.54m telescope at the La Silla Observatory. Our aim was to monitor and study the magnitudes and colors of each lensed component as a function of time. methods: We monitored the object during two seasons (2008 and 2009) in the VRi spectral bands, and reduced the data with two independent techniques: difference imaging and PSF (Point Spread Function) fitting.results: Between these two seasons, our results show an evident decrease in flux by ~0.2-0.4 magnitudes of the four lensed components in the three filters. We also found a significant increase (~0.05-0.015) in their V-R and R-i color indices. conclusions: These flux and color variations are very likely caused by intrinsic variations of the quasar between the observed epochs. Microlensing effects probably also affect the brightest "A" lensed component.Comment: 10 pages, 8 figure

A systematic fitting scheme for caustic-crossing microlensing events

We outline a method for fitting binary-lens caustic-crossing microlensing events based on the alternative model parameterisation proposed and detailed in Cassan (2008). As an illustration of our methodology, we present an analysis of OGLE-2007-BLG-472, a double-peaked Galactic microlensing event with a source crossing the whole caustic structure in less than three days. In order to identify all possible models we conduct an extensive search of the parameter space, followed by a refinement of the parameters with a Markov Chain-Monte Carlo algorithm. We find a number of low-chi2 regions in the parameter space, which lead to several distinct competitive best models. We examine the parameters for each of them, and estimate their physical properties. We find that our fitting strategy locates several minima that are difficult to find with other modelling strategies and is therefore a more appropriate method to fit this type of events.Comment: 12 pages, 11 figure
