Vocational pedagogical competencies of a professor in the secondary vocational education system: Approbation of monitoring model
The relevance of the researched issue is preconditioned by the strategic changes in the secondary vocational education system taking place not only in Russia, but also in majority of industrially developed countries. Provision of the system with qualified pedagogical staff is the leading strategic objective of development of the secondary vocational educational system. Its solution must be based on the justified monitoring system, which objectively represents the condition as well as quantitative and qualitative changes taking place in the educational sphere. The article is aimed at approbating the model of monitoring of vocational pedagogical competences of professors in secondary vocational education. Integration of the competence, functional and general pedagogical analysis became the leading approach to research into this problem, which has enabled substantiating the model of monitoring of vocational pedagogical competences of professors in the secondary vocational education system. The competence model of a professor of secondary vocational education has been developed and substantiated as a monitoring basis. Results of model approbation and monitoring tools have been presented. The article may be useful to improve the quality of the human resource potential in the secondary vocational education system in Russia, to define current and long-range objectives of its development. Utilization of PHQ-9 Russian version for insane violations evaluation in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma
Investigation of internal consistency and diagnostic value of PHQ-9 Russian version was done based on examination results of 128 patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). It was determined that questionnaire has gratifying psychometric properties and may be used for quantified evaluation of depression symptoms in patients with POAG. It was reported that the most marked manifestations of POAG-associated depressive symptomatology are hypothymia, sleep disturbance, fatigability. Dependence of insane violations in patients with POAG from intensity of disturbances in ophthalmological status was demonstrated. Statement that simultaneous study of PHQ-9 profile, cognitive functions and intensity of oxidative stress provide additional (oblique) information about intraocular blood flow condition and retina photosensitivity was justify.ΠΡΠΎΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½ΠΎ ΠΈΠ·ΡΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅ Π²Π½ΡΡΡΠ΅Π½Π½Π΅ΠΉ ΡΠΎΠ³Π»Π°ΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΠΈ Π²Π°Π»ΠΈΠ΄Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΡΡΡΡΠΊΠΎΡΠ·ΡΡΠ½ΠΎΠΉ Π²Π΅ΡΡΠΈΠΈ ΠΎΠΏΡΠΎΡΠ½ΠΈΠΊΠ° PHQ-9 ΠΏΠΎ ΡΠ΅Π·ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΠ°ΠΌ ΠΎΠ±ΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ 128 Π±ΠΎΠ»ΡΠ½ΡΡ

JCCRER Project 2.3 -- Deterministic effects of occupational exposure to radiation. Phase 1: Feasibility study; Final report
Phase 1 of Project 2.3, a short-term collaborative Feasibility Study, was funded for 12 months starting on 1 February 1996. The overall aim of the study was to determine the practical feasibility of using the dosimetric and clinical data on the MAYAK worker population to study the deterministic effects of exposure to external gamma radiation and to internal alpha radiation from inhaled plutonium. Phase 1 efforts were limited to the period of greatest worker exposure (1948--1954) and focused on collaboratively: assessing the comprehensiveness, availability, quality, and suitability of the Russian clinical and dosimetric data for the study of deterministic effects; creating an electronic data base containing complete clinical and dosimetric data on a small, representative sample of MAYAK workers; developing computer software for the testing of a currently used health risk model of hematopoietic effects; and familiarizing the US team with the Russian diagnostic criteria and techniques used in the identification of Chronic Radiation Sickness
