CUSTOMER SATISFACTION TOWARDS HOSPITALS A STUDY ON SELECTED HOSPITALS AT SHIVAMOGGA CITY The opening of Indian economy since 1991 has given a new dimension to the economic structure of the country. The service sector is contributing more than 50% to the GDP. In service sector the contribution of healthcare sector towards GDP is significant. India will spend a huge         Rs 200,000 crore on healthcare in the next five years as the country witnessing changes in its demographic profile accompanied with lifestyle diseases and increasing medical expenses. Nearly 80 per cent of the required investment is coming from the private sector. The government spending on healthcare is around 0.9 per cent of the total GDP, which limits the extent and effectiveness of the coverage it can provide. Private healthcare will continue to be the largest component in 2012 and is likely to double to   Rs 156,000 crore. Therefore the study focuses on services provided by private hospitals.  Â
New spectrophotometric method for the determination of flutamide in pharmaceutical preparations
A sensitive and simple spectrophotometric method for the determinations of reduction product of flutamide (FLA) is described. The method is based on the interaction of diazotized flutamide reduction product with N-(1-naphthyl) ethylenediamine dihydrochloride (NEDA) in neutral or resorcinol (RSL) in alkaline medium. Absorbance of the resulting chromophores is measured at 525 or 480 nm, respectively, and is stable for at least 7 days. The two coupling reagents are applied successfully for the determination of FLA in tablets. The common excipients used as additives in pharmaceutical preparations do not interfere with the determination. Results from the analysis of pure FLA and its commercial tablets by the proposed methods agree well with the reported method. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved

A multi-centered approach is the need of the hour to take the economy out of this crisis. In India on May 12th, the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, announced a special economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore with the aim of making the country independent against the tough competition in the global supply chain and to help in empowering the people who have been adversely affected by COVID. In order to achieve this vision, India needs to focus on holistic and sustainable development. The formation of SHGs is a holistic program with an objective to bring the rural entrepreneurs in a platform and encourage them to initiate innovation. Cashew research in India
Cashew, after its introduction from Brazil during the 16th Century, has established very well in India. A total of 40 high-yielding varieties have been released so far by the Directorate of Cashew Research, Puttur, and various Agricultural Universities, for cultivation. Of these, 13 are hybrids and 27 are selections. Research achievements in the area of crop improvement, management, protection and post-harvest technology over the last six decades are reviewed and documented here. As India has been importing raw nuts to the tune of 6.5 lakh tons annually to cater the demand of established processing factories, research priorities have been identified to meet the challenges of enhancing production and productivity of cashew in the country
Study on Micro - Nano Sized Al2O3 Particles on Mechanical, Wear and Fracture Behavior of Al7075 Metal Matrix Composites
Having Low density and being Light weight with better mechanical properties, aluminum is the most significant material and is universally used in highly critical applications like navy, aerospace and particularly automotive activities. This research work is aimed to investigate the effect of micro and nano boron Al2O3 (Alumina Oxide) to aluminium (Al) on the mechanical and wear properties of the Al composites. The micro - nano composites with 1, 2, 3 and 4 % of Al2O3 particulates in Al are fabricated using stircasting processes. It was found that an increase of Al2O3 both as micro and nano particulates content resulted in an improved hardness, enhanced tensile strength and high wear resistance. However, nano Al2O3 reinforced MMCs have better hardness, improved tensile strength and higher wear resistance as compared with micro sized Al2O3 reinforced MMCs. Grain refinement of composite and nano composite materials as compared with pure Al were observed from the microscopic images. Machine Learning (ML)-assisted Beam Management in millimeter (mm)Wave Distributed Multiple Input Multiple Output (D-MIMO) systems
Beam management (BM) protocols are critical for establishing and maintaining
connectivity between network radio nodes and User Equipments (UEs). In
Distributed Multiple Input Multiple Output systems (D-MIMO), a number of access
points (APs), coordinated by a central processing unit (CPU), serves a number
of UEs. At mmWave frequencies, the problem of finding the best AP and beam to
serve the UEs is challenging due to a large number of beams that need to be
sounded with Downlink (DL) reference signals. The objective of this paper is to
investigate whether the best AP/beam can be reliably inferred from sounding
only a small subset of beams and leveraging AI/ML for inference of best
beam/AP. We use Random Forest (RF), MissForest (MF) and conditional Generative
Adversarial Networks (c-GAN) for demonstrating the performance benefits of

Solvent Effect on the Fluorescence Properties of Two Biologically Active Thiophene Carboxamido Molecules
The absorption and fluorescence spectra of two thiophene carboxamido molecules namely 2–( - trimethoxy phenyl) imino–3–N–ethylcarboxamido–4, 5, tetramethylene thiophene (X) and 2-( -N, N-dimethylaminophenyl) imino-3-(N- methylphenyl carboxamido)-4, 5, tetramethylene thiophene (Y) have been recorded at room temperature. The ground (mg) and excited (me) state dipole moments are estimated from Lippert, Bakhshiev, Kawski-Chamma-Viallet equations by using the variation of Stokes shift with microscopic solvent dielectric constant (e) and refractive index (n). The excited dipole moments were also estimated by using the variation of Stokes shift with microscopic empirical solvent polarity parameter and the values are compared. It was estimated that dipole moments of the excited state were higher than those of the ground state of both the molecules. Further, the change in dipole moment (Dm) were calculated both from solvatochromic shift method and on the basis of microscopic empirical solvent polarity parameter
Probabilistic Analysis of Facility Location on Random Shortest Path Metrics
The facility location problem is an NP-hard optimization problem. Therefore,
approximation algorithms are often used to solve large instances. Such
algorithms often perform much better than worst-case analysis suggests.
Therefore, probabilistic analysis is a widely used tool to analyze such
algorithms. Most research on probabilistic analysis of NP-hard optimization
problems involving metric spaces, such as the facility location problem, has
been focused on Euclidean instances, and also instances with independent
(random) edge lengths, which are non-metric, have been researched. We would
like to extend this knowledge to other, more general, metrics.
We investigate the facility location problem using random shortest path
metrics. We analyze some probabilistic properties for a simple greedy heuristic
which gives a solution to the facility location problem: opening the
cheapest facilities (with only depending on the facility opening
costs). If the facility opening costs are such that is not too large,
then we show that this heuristic is asymptotically optimal. On the other hand,
for large values of , the analysis becomes more difficult, and we
provide a closed-form expression as upper bound for the expected approximation
ratio. In the special case where all facility opening costs are equal this
closed-form expression reduces to or or even

Solvent Effect on Fluorescence Quenching of 7, 8 Benzo‑4‑azido Methyl Coumarin by Aniline
Fluorescence quenching of biologically active studies of 7, 8 benzo-4-azidomethyl coumarin (7BAMC) by aniline in four different organic solvents namely benzene, dioxane, tetrahydrofuran and acetonitrile has been carried out at room temperature with a view to understand the quenching mechanisms. The Stern–Volmer (S-V) plot has been found to be non-linear with a positive deviation for all the solvents studied. In order to interpret these results we have invoked the ground state complex formation and sphere of action static quenching models. Using these models various quenching rate parameters have been determined. The magnitudes of these parameters suggest that sphere of action static quenching model agrees well with the experimental results. Hence the positive deviation is attributed to the static and dynamic quenching. Further, with the use of Finite Sink approximation model, it was possible to check these bimolecular reactions as diffusion-limited and to estimate independently distance parameter R’ and mutual diffusion coefficient D. Finally an effort has been made to correlate the values of R’ and D with the values of the encounter distance R and the mutual coefficient D determined using the Edward’s empirical relation and Stokes – Einstein relation
Chiral Solitons in a Current Coupled Schr\"odinger Equation With Self Interaction
Recently non-topological chiral soliton solutions were obtained in a
derivatively coupled non-linear Schr\"odinger model in 1+1 dimensions. We
extend the analysis to include a more general self-coupling potential (which
includes the previous cases) and find chiral soliton solutions. Interestingly
even the magnitude of the velocity is found to be fixed. Energy and U(1) charge
