Physics Opportunities with Polarized e- and e+ Beams at TESLA
Beam polarization at e+ e- linear colliders will be a powerful tool for high
precision analyses. Often it is assumed that the full information from
polarization effects is provided by polarization of the electron beam and no
further information can be obtained by the simultaneous polarization of the
positrons. In this paper we point out the advantages of polarizing both beams,
and summarize the polarization-related results of the Higgs, Electroweak, QCD,
SUSY and Alternative Theories working groups of the ECFA/DESY workshop for a
planned linear collider operating in the energy range sqrt{s}= 500-800 GeV.Comment: 36 pages, 21 postscript figures, latex using epsfi
The lightest neutralino in the MNSSM
We examine the allowed mass range of the lightest neutralino within the
Minimal Non--minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. Being absolutely stable if
R-parity is conserved this lightest neutralino is a candidate for the dark
matter of the universe. We establish the theoretical upper bound on the

Neutralino Pair Production and 3-Body Decays at Linear Colliders as Probes of CP Violation in the Neutralino System
In the CP-invariant supersymmetric theories, the steep S-wave (slow P-wave)
rise of the cross section for any non-diagonal neutralino pair production in
annihilation, (), near threshold is accompanied by the slow P-wave (steep S-wave) decrease
of the fermion invariant mass distribution of the 3-body neutralino decay,
( or ), near the end
point. These selection rules, unique to the neutralino system due to its
Majorana nature, guarantee that the observation of simultaneous sharp S-wave
excitations of the production cross section near threshold and the lepton and
quark invariant mass distribution near the end point is a qualitative,

CP-odd observables in neutralino production with transverse e+ and e- beam polarization
We consider neutralino production and decay e^+e^ --> chi^0_i chi^0_j,
chi^0_j --> chi^0_1 f \bar{f} at a linear collider with transverse e^+ and e^-
beam polarization. We propose CP asymmetries by means of the azimuthal
distribution of the produced neutralinos and of that of the final leptons,
while taking also into account the subsequent decays of the neutralinos. We
include the complete spin correlations between production and decay. Our
framework is the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameters.
In a numerical study we show that there are good prospects to observe these CP
asymmetries at the International Linear Collider and estimate the accuracy

Reconstruction of Fundamental SUSY Parameters
We summarize methods and expected accuracies in determining the basic
low-energy SUSY parameters from experiments at future ee linear
colliders in the TeV energy range, combined with results from LHC. In a second
step we demonstrate how, based on this set of parameters, the fundamental
supersymmetric theory can be reconstructed at high scales near the grand
unification or Planck scale. These analyses have been carried out for minimal
supergravity [confronted with GMSB for comparison], and for a string effective

Normal tau polarisation as a sensitive probe of CP violation in chargino decay
CP violation in the spin-spin correlations in chargino production and
subsequent two-body decay into a tau and a tau-sneutrino is studied at the ILC.
From the normal polarisation of the tau, an asymmetry is defined to test the
CP-violating phase of the higgsino mass parameter \mu. Asymmetries of more than
\pm70% are obtained, also in scenarios with heavy first and second generation
sfermions. Bounds on the statistical significances of the CP asymmetries are
estimated. As a result, the normal tau polarisation in the chargino decay is
one of the most sensitive probes to constrain or measure the phase \phi_\mu at
