Hopf maps and Wigner's little groups
We present the explicit formulae relating Hopf maps with Wigner's little
groups. They, particularly, explain simple action of group on a fiber for the
first and second Hopf fibrations, and present most simplified form for the
third one. Corresponding invariant Lagrangians are presented, and their
possible reductions are discussed.Comment: 9pp, published versio
Oscillator potential for the four-dimensional Hall effect
We suggest the exactly solvable model of oscillator on the four-dimensional
sphere interacting with the SU(2) Yang monopole. We show, that the properties
of the model essentially depend on the monopole charge.Comment: 4 page
Instantons in non-Cartesian coordinates
The explicit multi-instanton solutions by 'tHooft and Jackiw, Nohl & Rebbi
are generalized to curvilinear coordinates. The idea is that a gauge
transformation can notably simplify the expressions obtained after the change
of variables. The gauge transform generates a compensating addition to the
gauge potential of pseudoparticles. Singularities of the compensating field are
irrelevant for physics but may affect gauge dependent quantities.Comment: 10 pages, LaTeX, talk given at Quarks-2000 (Pushkin, Russia) and
