    Treatment of Gingival Recession

    Get PDF
Gingival recession is an intriguing and complex phenomenon. Recession frequently disturbs patients because of sensitivity and esthetics. Many surgical techniques have been introduced to treat gingival recession, including those involving autogenous tissue grafting, various flap designs, orthodontics, and guided tissue regeneration (GTR). This article describes different clinical approaches to treat gingival recession with emphasis on techniques that show promising results and root coverage

Reflection of electromagnetic waves from mixtures of plane gravitational and scalar waves

    Get PDF
We consider colliding wave packets consisting of hybrid mixtures of electromagnetic, gravitational and scalar waves. Irrespective of the scalar field, the electromagnetic wave still reflects from the gravitational wave. Some reflection processes are given for different choice of packets in which the Coulomb-like component Ψ2\Psi_2 vanishes. Exact solution for multiple reflection of an electromagnetic wave from successive impulsive gravitational waves is obtained in a closed form. It is shown that a succesive sign flip in the Maxwell spinor arises as a result of encountering with an impulsive train (i.e. the Dirac's comb curvature) of gravitational waves. Such an observable effect may be helpful in the detection of gravitational wave bursts.Comment: 20 pages, 3 ps figures, small typos corrected, published versio

Revolution 4.0 requires teachers to be professional in the world of education. The role of teachers in the world of education is very urgent, because the condition of learning is the existence of a teacher. As teachers who live or are in the current global era, we are required to be creative and master technology so that it is not left behind by the current era. It is undeniable that the era of globalization requires us to be active, creative, master technology. If we cannot keep up with the current development of modern times, then we will be left behind by others

Particle dynamics and shadow of a regular non-minimal magnetic black hole

In this paper, we study the dynamics of a test particle around a regular black hole (BH) in a non-minimal Einstein Yang Mills (EYM) theory and examine the BH shadow. The EYM theory is a non-minimally coupled theory in which curvature couples to non-Abelian gauge fields. We investigate particle motion with parameters in EYM BH for massless and massive particles. This work provides the horizon structure, photon radius and inner stable circular orbit (ISCO) of a mass particle with EYM BH parameters. An analysis is provided of the effective potential as well as the possible orbits for test particles under various EYM BH parameters values. In timelike radial geodesics, we find that for smaller values of magnetic charge, particles following a timelike radial geodesic are hastier in EYM BH, and hence arrive at the center faster than those traveling a Schwarzschild BH geodesic. However, at larger values of the magnetic charge, the inverse effect is observed. The effect of model parameters is investigated in order to study the ISCO, photon radius, orbit stability (Lyapunov exponent), and effective force on particles for the BH in the EYM theory. Finally, we investigate the BH shadow. We find that higher magnetic charge values and non-minimal coupling parameters result in smaller shadow radius values

    Coleridge's Shakespearean criticism

    Get PDF
The object of this thesis is twofold: first, to attempt to understand the method and the critical assumptions in Cole-ridge's writings on Shakespeare, and secondly, to point out the exact nature of his contribution to English Shakespearean criticism. In order to assess his contribution, however, it is necessary to review Shakespearean criticism before his time. A discussion of this criticism reveals that the rational common sense approach to the plays resulted in the splitting up of their organic unity. Besides, the predominant philosophical and psychological ideas of the time were not favourable to any profound apprehension of the nature of the poetic and dramatic experience, and the rise of scientific and empirical mental habits encouraged a naturalistic conception of character. A study of Coleridge's Shakespearean criticism, on the other hand, shows its profoundly systematic nature, and its intimate relation to his aesthetical theory. But there is a basic contradiction in the theory itself. Virtually Coleridge has two different theories of poetry: an emotionalistic theory which regards pleasure to be the end of poetry, and which he inherits from the eighteenth century, and the theory of imagination, which forms his own contribution. The latter theory does not confuse art with life or relegate poetry to the realm of pleasant unrealities, but offers a serious view of the nature and function of poetic imagination, and hence of Shakespearean drama. Prom Coleridge we have learnt that each play is an embodiment of the poet's vision of life, and has a serious meaning that bears a significant relation to reality. Because of his organic view of form Coleridge looks for this meaning, not in the constituent parts of a play separately or in isolation, but in the whole of it, in its plot, character, imagery and versification alike.<p

Rotation with leguminous crops to break non-legume monocultures has been established to benefit the latter. The lacking information on this cultivation system in stressed environments encouraged the implementation of two field trials in two different locations of Ismailia desert soils. The experimental design included the cultivation of wheat subsequent to peanut in presence of diazotroph inoculation and N fertilization. Bradyrhizobial inoculation of the legume in combination with 50 kg N acre-1 resulted in the highest total biological yields of 4.24 and 5.01 kg plot-1 at the experimental sites 1 and 2, respective seed yields of 1.46 and 1.61 kg pot-1 were recorded. In case of the cereal crop, the measured acetylene reducing activities in soils of associative diazotroph-inoculated plants together with 50 kg N acre-1 were the highest being 515.8-886.2 and 616.7-1066.2 nmoles C2H4 g-1 h-1 at locations 1 and 2 respectively. The enzymatic activity of fallow-cultivated wheat generally represented ca. 95 % of that in subsequent to peanut. Irrespective of inoculation and N fertilization, the wheat biomass yield increases in residual effect-field over the fallow one were 6.4-35.1 % and 4.6-38.5 % at experimental sites 1 and 2 respectively. Increase percentages of 3.1-26.6 and 6.9-44.7 were scored as well for grain yield. The beneficial residual effect of the legume to the succeeding cereal was also extended to protein yields, increases of 4.0-14.2 % and 4.5-7.6 % were estimated for grain protein as well as 8.3-24.1 % and 8.1-35.3 % for straw protein yield. The findings of this study proved that the positively yield turnover of a legume is extended to the subsequent non-legume. Besides, the beneficial residual effects of legumes toward rotated non legumes could be magnified by diazotroph inoculation together with adequate N supply particularly in stressed environments represented, in the present study, by Ismailia sandy soil

Research with the title Determination Factors Dominant of Diamond Fraud at Drinking Water Company with the aim to find out, describe, measure and analyze the influence of diamond fraud variables (capability, pressure, rationalization and opportunity) at Drinking Water Company The subject of this study was the Directorate of Services and Managing Water Use with the number of employees as 203 people. The data obtained were analyzed using SEM (Structural equation modeling is a statistical technique used to build and test statistical models that are usually in the form of causal models. The software used in this SEM analysis is LISREL 8.8. The results of the overall research, conceptualization and prevention of fraud through capability, pressure, rationalization and pelaang at Drinking Water Company shows that pressure is no longer a variable that has a relationship or influence on fraud variables. It is recommended to management to develop a system of controlling and monitoring opportunities that cause fraud that can arise from factors of capability, opportunities, rationalization. One of the management systems that can be applied to fraud control is the application of ISO37001: 2016 or what is known as an anti-bribery management system. Keywords: capability, rationalization, pressure, opportunities. DOI: 10.7176/EJBM/12-33-07 Publication date: November 30th 2020
