Intracranial relapsed Masson's tumor
Intravascular papillary endothelial hyperplasia (IPEH), also referred as Masson’s tumor, is a benign vascular condition that rarely involves the nervous system. Most of the cases of IPEH (more than 300) are of the skin, skull, neck and trunk. There are only 23 cases of intracranial IPEH reported in literature, 4 of them with recurrence. This lesion can be easily mistaken clinically, radiologically and histologically for malignant vascular tumors. The author reports the case of a patient with an IPEH in the right frontal lobe completely excided, with a recurrence after two years in the left occipital lobe
