Instanton theory for bosons in disordered speckle potential
We study the tail of the spectrum for non-interacting bosons in a
blue-detuned random speckle potential. Using an instanton approach we derive
the asymptotic behavior of the density of states in d dimensions. The leading
corrections resulting from fluctuations around the saddle point solution are
obtained by means of the Gel'fand-Yaglom method generalized to functional
determinants with zero modes. We find a good agreement with the results of
numerical simulations in one dimension. The effect of weak repulsive
interactions in the Lifshitz tail is also discussed.Comment: 12 pages, 3 figures, revtex
Wave function correlations and the AC conductivity of disordered wires beyond the Mott-Berezinskii law
In one-dimensional disordered wires electronic states are localized at any
energy. Correlations of the states at close positive energies and the AC
conductivity in the limit of small frequency are described by
the Mott-Berezinskii theory. We revisit the instanton approach to the
statistics of wave functions and AC transport valid in the tails of the
spectrum (large negative energies). Applying our recent results on functional
determinants, we calculate exactly the integral over gaussian fluctuations
around the exact two-instanton saddle point. We derive correlators of wave
functions at different energies beyond the leading order in the energy
difference. This allows us to calculate corrections to the Mott-Berezinskii law
(the leading small frequency asymptotic behavior of ) which
approximate the exact result in a broad range of . We compare our
results with the ones obtained for positive energies.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figure

TRAINING, RE-TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION TRAINING OF RESCUERS OF UKRAINE
The article reveals the content of the concepts of professional training, professional training of ordinary and senior staff. It is noted that the professional training of ordinary and managerial staff involves obtaining professional (vocational) higher, pre-higher, postgraduate education. Professional training of newly appointed members of the rank and file and junior management may be carried out by obtaining professional (vocational) education in the relevant profession. Persons admitted to the civil defense service are sent to study in educational programs of professional (vocational) education after appointment.Training of specialists with professional higher education is carried out in institutions of professional higher education of civil defense according to accredited educational and professional programs developed on the basis of standards of professional pre-higher education.Professional training of ordinary and senior staff can be carried out by obtaining an educational degree at a certain level of higher education and the relevant specialty. Training of specialized specialists with higher education is carried out in institutions of higher education of civil defense, which provide training for accredited educational and professional (educational and scientific) programs developed on the basis of higher education standards.Postgraduate education includes obtaining a second (next) higher education, advanced training, specialization, retraining and internship.Taking into account the analysis of guiding documents and scientific literature, we found the need for conceptual justification and development of a system of professional training of rescuers, their preparation for successful activities during the service, firefighting, emergency response and their consequences. The article reveals the content of the concepts of professional training, professional training of ordinary and senior staff. Density of states in an optical speckle potential
We study the single particle density of states of a one-dimensional speckle
potential, which is correlated and non-Gaussian. We consider both the repulsive
and the attractive cases. The system is controlled by a single dimensionless
parameter determined by the mass of the particle, the correlation length and
the average intensity of the field. Depending on the value of this parameter,
the system exhibits different regimes, characterized by the localization
properties of the eigenfunctions. We calculate the corresponding density of
states using the statistical properties of the speckle potential. We find good
agreement with the results of numerical simulations.Comment: 11 pages, 11 figures, revtex
Dielectric response due to stochastic motion of pinned domain walls
We study the contribution of stochastic motion of a domain wall (DW) to the
dielectric AC susceptibility for low frequencies. Using the concept of waiting
time distributions, which is related to the energy landscape of the DW in a
disordered medium, we derive the power-law behavior of the complex
susceptibility observed recently in some ferroelectrics below Curie
temperature.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures, revtex
Analysis of personal characteristics of oncologic patients at the stage of psychological adjustment
© Medwell Journals, 2015. The study describes experimental psychognostic study of personal characteristics of thyroid cancer patients after curative antineoplastic therapy. The empiric framework of the study relies on the results of diagnosis of 175 persons. From among them the treatment group 120 persons ill with thyroid carcinoma after curative antineoplastic therapy, during the long-term postoperative period (2-4 years) without disease recurrence during the study period. And the control group 55 donors registered with the Kazan municipal blood transfusion station as those without chronic diseases. The personals status of the thyroid carcinoma patients was investigated with the use of the psychognostic questionnaires: Mini-Mult, one of the most famous abridged versions MMPI (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory); Spielberg's anxiety scale (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI)): WAM (Well-being, Activity, Mood). The relevance of the study performed consists in determination of the long-term personal characteristics of thyroid carcinoma patients after curative antineoplastic therapy under conditions of the mindset training with the use of the method of 'progressive muscular relaxation after Jacobson' as well as other psychotherapeutic methods for improvement of the psychological status of oncologic patients. The psychotherapeutic measures were aimed at optimization of the mental state: relieving the psychic and muscular strain caused by stress: reducing the state and trait anxiety. The results of the long-term psychological diagnosis of the thyroid carcinoma patients after curative antineoplastic therapy show that the detected differences between the personal traits (scales for hypochondria, depression, hysteria, psychastenia, schizogony of the Mini-Mult test) and indicators of correlation thereof in the group of patients cured from the thyroid carcinoma and in the control group are significant (p<0.0001). The use of the developed program of psychological adjustment including the Method of Progressive Muscular Relaxation (MPMR: Jacobson) has significantly (p<0.05) improved the mental state (the index 'well-being' of the CAH-test, 'the state anxiety' by the STAI scale), the significant changes in the personality profile of the patients that have completed the training (the indexes of the scale for hypochondria, depression, hysteria, psychastenia were reduced, the indexes of the scale for optimism or hypomania of the Mini-Mult test were increased)
Surface segregation of conformationally asymmetric polymer blends
We have generalized the Edwards' method of collective description of dense
polymer systems in terms of effective potentials to polymer blends in the
presence of a surface. With this method we have studied conformationally
asymmetric athermic polymer blends in the presence of a hard wall to the first
order in effective potentials. For polymers with the same gyration radius
but different statistical segment lengths and the excess
concentration of stiffer polymers at the surface is derived as % \delta \rho
_{A}(z=0)\sim (l_{B}^{-2}-l_{A}^{-2}){\ln (}R_{g}^{2}/l_{c}^{2}{)%}, where
is a local length below of which the incompressibility of the polymer
blend is violated. For polymer blends differing only in degrees of
polymerization the shorter polymer enriches the wall.Comment: 11 pages, 7 figures, revtex

Biosynthesis of landomycin E deoxysugar part in Streptomyces globisporus 1912: sequencing and analysis of lndZ1 and lndZ3 genes
DNA fragment of landomycin E biosynthesis gene cluster 1.5 kb in size has been completely sequenced and two open reading frames were identified. Gene lndZ1 resembles NDP-hexose-3,5-epimerase and lndZ3 is similar to NDP-hexose-4-ketoreductases. LndZ1 and LndZ3 proteins are suggested to accomplish two last catalytic steps towards deoxysugar L-rhodinose present in landomycin E carbohydrate moietyThis work was supported by grant BG-117b from Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (to V.F). We are gratefull to the staff of DNA sequencing facility at the Dept. of Biochemistry of Cambridge University (John Lester, Tania Mironenko, Nataliya Scott) for help in
