Atomically dispersed nickel as coke-resistant active sites for methane dry reforming

    Get PDF
Dry reforming of methane (DRM) is an attractive route to utilize CO2 as a chemical feedstock with which to convert CH4 into valuable syngas and simultaneously mitigate both greenhouse gases. Ni-based DRM catalysts are promising due to their high activity and low cost, but suffer from poor stability due to coke formation which has hindered their commercialization. Herein, we report that atomically dispersed Ni single atoms, stabilized by interaction with Ce-doped hydroxyapatite, are highly active and coke-resistant catalytic sites for DRM. Experimental and computational studies reveal that isolated Ni atoms are intrinsically coke-resistant due to their unique ability to only activate the first C-H bond in CH4, thus avoiding methane deep decomposition into carbon. This discovery offers new opportunities to develop large-scale DRM processes using earth abundant catalysts

The Nusantara Moderation Community Service Program in Religion is an implementation of the decision of the director general of Islamic education number 533 of 2023 concerning technical instructions for the 2023 religious moderation practical work course which was signed on January 26, 2023. Participants in the Nusantara Moderation Community Service program come from 58 religious universities throughout Indonesia. Location KKN implementation is divided into 30 posts spread across the districts of Tana Toraja and North Toraja. The method used is the ABCD approach (Asset Based Community Driven Development). That devotion carried out by posko 16 located in Lembang Marinding with the title "Caring for Lembang Harmonikan Marinding: Community Empowerment Based on Social, Cultural and Religious Objects". Based on the method used, namely the ABCD (Asset Based Community driven) approach. Development) of the program has gone through several stages. Starting from the stages of introducing social, cultural to religious assets to reflections on every aspect of the field elements which include education, social, economy and culture. Various work programs that empower the community are also part of the community service program. Among them are expo umkm gedebog fairs, moderation seminars, traditional game roadshows, reading literacy to making videos of lembang profiles

Pedal Monkeypox is a disease which can mimic many other pedal conditions. It should always be considered in differential diagnosis. A young male HIV patient who presented with a tender foot lesion and diagnosed with pedal Monkeypox as a result of performed tests is discussed hereby in the case report. We expect that this case report adds to the existing literature on this subject
