Spermatological characteristics of stallion semen diluted with different diluents and stored at 5°C for 24 hours

Bu araştırmada 24 saat süreyle 5C'de saklanan aygır spermasının spermatolojik özelliklerinde meydana gelebilecek değişimlerin saptanması amaçlandı. Materyal olarak kullanılan 6 aygırdan alman spermalar 3 bölüme ayrıldı ve 3 ayrı sulandırıcı ile sulandırıldı. Sperma alındıktan hemen sonra yapılan spermatolojik muayeneler sulandırdıktan sonra, 5C'de ve 12 ile 24. saatlerde tekrarlandı. Ortalama motilite, ölü, anormal ve akrozom yapısı bozulmuş spermatozoon oranlan 24. saatte sırası ile % 15.7, 51.0, 36.1 ve 2.7 olarak bulundu.In this study, spermatological characteristics of stallion semen, stored at 5C for 24 hours, was investigated. Ejaculates collected and divided into three groups by split sarnple method and diluted with different diluents. Ejaculates were examined just after collection and reexamined just after dilution and 12 and 24 hours after dilution at 5°C. Avarages of motile, dead, abnormal and acrosome defected spermatozoon precentages 24 hours after dilution were found as 15.7, 51.0, 36.1 and 2. 7 respectively
