Spectral-phase interferometry for direct electric-field reconstruction applied to seeded extreme-ultraviolet free-electron lasers
We present a setup for complete characterization of femtosecond pulses
generated by seeded free-electron lasers (FEL's) in the extreme-ultraviolet
spectral region. Two delayed and spectrally shifted replicas are produced and
used for spectral phase interferometry for direct electric field reconstruction
(SPIDER). We show that it can be achieved by a simple arrangement of the seed
laser. Temporal shape and phase obtained in FEL simulations are well retrieved
by the SPIDER reconstruction, allowing to foresee the implementation of this
diagnostic on existing and future sources. This will be a significant step
towards an experimental investigation and control of FEL spectral phase

The main results of the investigation were that the Group Loan Program generated an increase in Return on Assets (ROA) of 2.39% and Return on Capital (ROE) of 0.98%, demonstrating the veracity of the hypothesis raised.
Finally, it was concluded that thanks to the analysis and meticulous study of the loans granted by the company, the one that generated the highest profitability is the group loan, which allowed having a greater breadth and certainty of the profitability granted for its better use internally and externally
Polarization control of high order harmonics in the EUV photon energy range
International audienceWe report the generation of circularly polarized high order harmonics in the extreme ultraviolet range (18-27 nm) from a linearly polarized infrared laser (40 fs, 0.25 TW) focused into a neon filled gas cell. To circularly polarize the initially linearly polarized harmonics we have implemented a four-reflector phase-shifter. Fully circularly polarized radiation has been obtained with an efficiency of a few percents, thus being significantly more efficient than currently demonstrated direct generation of elliptically polarized harmonics. This demonstration opens up new experimental capabilities based on high order harmonics, for example, in biology and materials science. The inherent femtosecond time resolution of high order harmonic generating table top laser sources renders these an ideal tool for the investigation of ultrafast magnetization dynamics now that the magnetic circular dichroism at the absorption M-edges of transition metals can be exploite
Estudio de género sobre la intención emprendedora en la universidad tecnológica El Retoño, México
The objective of the study is to know the Entrepreneurial Intention (EI) by gender of the students of the Technological University El Retoño, to determine how effective the strategies are to encourage it. Entrepreneurship is considered as a source of economic and social development, currently, the number of women entrepreneurs is increasing, research has shown that university studies predominate in women who decide to undertake. That is why in the present work the entrepreneurial intention of university students is studied at two points in time during the four-month period September-December 2019 (propaedeutic) and the four-month period May-August 2020, through the application of an instrument, focusing attention on the entrepreneur intention by gender. Using Friedman's nonparametric test for repeated measures and Fisher's F approximation for multivariate observations. The results obtained showed that the EI of women is higher than that of men, both in the quarter September-December 2019 and in the quarter May-August 2020, likewise, the EI of women remained at the same level during the four months. 2 periods studied, with which it can be inferred that the perception of university women to undertake is changing and increasing.

Climate change and cancer: an oncology nurse perspective in two Colombian regions
Given the lack of publications and public policies addressing the relationship between cli-mate change and cancer care in Colombia, we present an exploration of the perspectives and communication practices of a group of nurses from Valle del Cauca and Antioquia. We provide a context based on the available literature on climate change and general health then provide an overview of cancer in the country. Next, we present how oncology nurses have incorporated information about strategies their patients can use to mitigate the effects of climate change on their health. We highlight the centrality of patient -centered communication using a framework from the US National Cancer Institute) and the fundamental role nurses have in patients' experiences throughout their treatment. We conclude with the need to investigate oncology nurse communication practices in other Colombian hospitals, with consideration of culture, cancer stigma, barriers to care and other factors that may influence successful climate change mitigation and to bet-ter understand how other Latin American oncology nurses are addressing this serious challenge
Laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization in the presence of a nanoscale magnetic domain network
International audienceFemtosecond magnetization phenomena have been challenging our understanding for over a decade. Most experiments have relied on infrared femtosecond lasers, limiting the spatial resolution to a few micrometres. With the advent of femtosecond X-ray sources, nanometric resolution can now be reached, which matches key length scales in femtomagnetism such as the travelling length of excited 'hot' electrons on a femtosecond timescale. Here we study laser-induced ultrafast demagnetization in [Co/Pd]30 multilayer films, which, for the first time, achieves a spatial resolution better than 100 nm by using femtosecond soft X-ray pulses. This allows us to follow the femtosecond demagnetization process in a magnetic system consisting of alternating nanometric domains of opposite magnetization. No modification of the magnetic structure is observed, but, in comparison with uniformly magnetized systems of similar composition, we find a significantly faster demagnetization time. We argue that this may be caused by direct transfer of spin angular momentum between neighbouring domains
