    Exstrophy of the bladder is a rare but serious congenital affliction. Untreated, exstrophy is associated with unacceptable morbidity and mortality. A case report is presented in which primary closure of the bladder and bilateral iliac osteotomy was successfully employed to gain anatomic correction of the bladder defect.
