FINE STRUCTURE ON NMR LINES IN A PARAMAGNET DUE TO INDIRECT NUCLEAR SPIN-SPIN COUPLING

Nous avons observé une structure fine discrète dans les spectres RMN des ligands dans Rb2CuCl4.2H2O et dans les corps isomorphes dans l'état paramagnétique. Plusieurs résultats expérimentaux démontrent qu'un couplage indirect des spins nucléaires est à l'origine de cette structure. Il est avancé que, dans le cas particulier de ces composés la portée du couplage est limitée à deux spins.A discrete fine structure in the ligand NMR spectra in Rb2CuCl4.2H2O and isomorphous compounds is observed in the paramagnetic state. Several experimental results prove that indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling is the origin of this structure. It is argued that the range of the coupling is limited to two spins especially in these compounds
