On Shrinking and Boundedly Complete Schauder Frames of Banach spaces
This paper studies Schauder frames in Banach spaces, a concept which is a
natural generalization of frames in Hilbert spaces and Schauder bases in Banach
spaces. The associated minimal and maximal spaces are introduced, as are
shrinking and boundedly complete Schauder frames. Our main results extend the
classical duality theorems on bases to the situation of Schauder frames. In
particular, we will generalize James' results on shrinking and boundedly
complete bases to frames. Secondly we will extend his characterization of the
reflexivity of spaces with unconditional bases to spaces with unconditional
frames
Improving Demand Modeling in California\u27s Rail Transit System
This paper analyzes urban rail-fare elasticity and compares the results across four California transit systems. A method of Internet search is adopted to collect monthly transit-fare records from 2002 to 2013. This paper contributes towards improving demand modeling for public transit using more precise and monthly data and applies econometric techniques involving autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) and panel data models. Results show that demand for public transit in California is very inelastic. Any ridership promotion policy may have a heterogeneous impact across transit systems
Predictions of the hidden-charm molecular states with four-quark component
In this work, we study the -type molecular systems systematically
via one pion exchange model, where denotes the narrow meson
or meson and is its antiparticle. With the effective
potentials, we try to find the bound state solutions of the corresponding
systems, which provide crucial information of whether there exist the
-type molecular states. According to our analysis, we predict some
-type molecular states which may be accessible at future experiments
like LHCb and forthcoming BelleII.Comment: 13 pages, 2 figures and 8 tables. Accepted by Eur. Phys. J.
