    The observed charmed hadron Ξ›c(2940)+\Lambda_c(2940)^+ and the Dβˆ—ND^*N interaction

    In this work, we systematically study the interaction of Dβˆ—D^* and nucleon, which is stimulated by the observation of Ξ›c(2940)+\Lambda_c(2940)^+ close to the threshold of Dβˆ—pD^*p. Our numerical result obtained by the dynamical investigation indicates the existence of the Dβˆ—ND^*N systems with JP=1/2Β±, 3/2Β±J^P=1/2^\pm,\,3/2^\pm, which not only provides valuable information to understand the underlying structure of Ξ›c(2940)+\Lambda_c(2940)^+ but also improves our knowledge of the interaction of Dβˆ—D^* and nucleon. Additionally, the bottom partners of the Dβˆ—ND^*N systems are predicted, which might be as one of the tasks in LHCb experiment.Comment: 8 pages, 6 Figures. Accepted for publication in Phys. Rev.

    A novel explanation of charmonium-like structure in e+eβˆ’β†’Οˆ(2S)Ο€+Ο€βˆ’e^+e^-\to \psi(2S)\pi^+\pi^-

    We first present a non-resonant description to charmonium-like structure Y(4360)Y(4360) in the ψ(2S)Ο€+Ο€βˆ’\psi(2S)\pi^+\pi^- invariant mass spectrum of the e+eβˆ’β†’Οˆ(2S)Ο€+Ο€βˆ’e^+e^-\to \psi(2S)\pi^+\pi^- process. The Y(4360)Y(4360) structure is depicted well by the interference effect of the production amplitudes of e+eβˆ’β†’Οˆ(2S)Ο€+Ο€βˆ’e^{+} e^{-} \to \psi(2S) \pi^+ \pi^- via the intermediate charmonia ψ(4160)/ψ(4415)\psi(4160)/\psi(4415) and direct e+eβˆ’e^+e^- annihilation into ψ(2S)Ο€+Ο€βˆ’\psi(2S)\pi^+ \pi^-. This fact shows that Y(4360)Y(4360) is not a genuine resonance, which naturally explains why Y(4360)Y(4360) was only reported in its hidden-charm decay channel ψ(2S)Ο€+Ο€βˆ’\psi(2S)\pi^+\pi^- and was not observed in the exclusive open-charm decay channel or RR-value scan.Comment: 4 pages, 1 table, 2 figures.     Prediction of a missing higher charmonium around 4.26 GeV in J/ψJ/\psi family

    Inspired by the similarity of mass gaps of J/ψJ/\psi and Ξ₯\Upsilon families, the prediction of missing higher charmonium with mass 42634263 MeV and very narrow width is made. In addition, the properties of two charmonium-like states, X(3940)X(3940) and X(4160)X(4160), and charmonium ψ(4415)\psi(4415) are discussed. Here, X(3940)X(3940) as Ξ·c(3S)\eta_c(3S) is established while the explanation of X(4160)X(4160) to be Ξ·c(4S)\eta_c(4S) is fully excluded and Ξ·c(4S)\eta_c(4S) is typically a very narrow state.
