    Closed-form solution of curved beam model of elastic mechanical wheel

    Based on the Timoshenko curved beam theory, a novel and feasible closed-form solution was proposed to deal with the internal mechanics characteristics of mechanical elastic wheel (MEW). With the Laplace transformation and boundary conditions, the governing differential equations was reduced to a single equation in regard to the rotation angle of curved beam, so as to reveal the relationship among the radial deformation, the tangential deformation and the curved angle. Furthermore, by adopting the Frobenius theory and the Green function, six normalized solutions of equations, the general solution and the free vibration of system equations were obtained. In the end, structure mechanics and vibration modal experiments were carried out and the results show that the analytical model is applicable for the experimental results

    Research on Hierarchical Control Strategy of Automatic Emergency Braking System

    In order to improve the active safety of vehicles, the control strategy of the vehicle automatic emergency braking system is studied. The hierarchical control idea is used to model the control strategy. The upper controller is a collision time model for the decision-making of vehicle braking deceleration, and the collision time threshold is determined under the condition of considering comfort. According to the braking deceleration output by the upper controller, the lower controller controls the vehicle by adjusting the throttle opening and braking pipeline pressure through PID control. Based on the typical test conditions of C-NCAP, a joint simulation test of CarSim and Matlab/Simulink for hierarchical control strategy is carried out. In order to achieve further verification, several groups of test conditions are conducted, and finally its effectiveness is verified, which can ensure the safety of drivers

    Electrochemical Cell-Based Sensor for Detection of Food Hazards

    People’s health has been threatened by several common food hazards. Thus, it is very important to establish rapid and accurate methods to detect food hazards. In recent years, biosensors have inspired developments because of their specificity and sensitivity, short reaction time, low cost, small size and easy operation. Owing to their high precision and non-destructive characteristics, cell-based electrochemical detection methods can reflect the damage of food hazards to organisms better. In this review, the characteristics of electrochemical cell-based biosensors and their applications in the detection of common hazards in food are reviewed. The strategies of cell immobilization and 3D culture on electrodes are discussed. The current limitations and further development prospects of cell-based electrochemical biosensors are also evaluated

    Design and Dynamic Simulation Analysis of a Wheel–Track Composite Chassis Based on RecurDyn

    The traditional chassis has the problems of low trafficability and poor stability under complex and changeable unstructured conditions. Thus, a wheel rail composite chassis is proposed. The chassis had a tracked travel mechanism at the front wheels and a wheeled travel mechanism at the rear wheels. This study presents the design, theoretical analysis and dynamic simulation analysis of the chassis. The maximum values of the passability of the wheel–track composite chassis that can be passed were calculated according to the relevant parameters. Furthermore, the chassis was modeled and simulated using RecurDyn to verify whether the values were reasonable. According to different values of the terrain, slope, vertical obstacle height and trench width, the change regularity of the track tension and driving torque of the chassis were obtained. The chassis is designed to improve the vehicle’s ability to operate under complex and diverse unstructured conditions

    An Intelligent Networked Car-Hailing System Based on the Multi Sensor Fusion and UWB Positioning Technology under Complex Scenes Condition

    In order to solve the problems of difficulty and long times to pick up cars in complex traffic scenes, this paper proposes an intelligent networked car-hailing system in complex scenes based on multi sensor fusion and Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB) technology. UWB positioning technology is adopted in the system, and the positioning data is optimized by the untraceable Kalman filter algorithm. Based on the environment perception technology of multi sensor fusion, such as machine vision and laser radar technology, an anti-collision warning algorithm was proposed in the process of car-hailing, which improved the safety factor of car-hailing. When the owner enters the parking lot, the intelligent vehicle can automatically locate the owner’s position and drive to the owner without human intervention, which provides a new idea for the development of intelligent networked vehicles and effectively improves the navigation accuracy and intelligence of intelligent vehicles

    Study on the Stability Control of Vehicle Tire Blowout Based on Run-Flat Tire

    In order to study the stability of a vehicle with inserts supporting run-flat tires after blowout, a run-flat tire model suitable for the conditions of a blowout tire was established. The unsteady nonlinear tire foundation model was constructed using Simulink, and the model was modified according to the discrete curve of tire mechanical properties under steady conditions. The improved tire blowout model was imported into the Carsim vehicle model to complete the construction of the co-simulation platform. CarSim was used to simulate the tire blowout of front and rear wheels under straight driving condition, and the control strategy of differential braking was adopted. The results show that the improved run-flat tire model can be applied to tire blowout simulation, and the performance of inserts supporting run-flat tires is superior to that of normal tires after tire blowout. This study has reference significance for run-flat tire performance optimization

    Analysis of Biomolecules Based on the Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

    Analyzing biomolecules is essential for disease diagnostics, food safety inspection, environmental monitoring and pharmaceutical development. Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is a powerful tool for detecting biomolecules due to its high sensitivity, rapidness and specificity in identifying molecular structures. This review focuses on the SERS analysis of biomolecules originated from humans, animals, plants and microorganisms, combined with nanomaterials as SERS substrates and nanotags. Recent advances in SERS detection of target molecules were summarized with different detection strategies including label-free and label-mediated types.
