Curs acadèmic: 2017/2018El siguiente estudio se centra en el análisis del papel que juega el álbum ilustrado en el aula de infantil, su importancia y la necesidad de que ilustración y texto se contemplen como un todo. En un mundo en el que niños y niñas viven rodeados de estímulos visuales, es vital que desde edades tempranas, y con la ayuda guiada del adulto, desarrollen su entendimiento visual para que su comprensión de las imágenes no se quede en algo superficial. Es decir, que sepan profundizar a medida que van creciendo, en la estrecha brecha que une literatura y arte dentro de los libros ilustrados. Por ello, este trabajo además de reflexionar sobre este tema, y el papel de la educación artística, también presenta una serie de propuestas de álbumes ilustrados con los que trabajar en el aula de infantil cuestiones que acontecen día a día en nuestra sociedad.The following study focuses on the analysis of the role played by the illustrated album in the preschool classroom, its importance and the need for illustration and text to be considered as a whole. In a world in which children live surrounded by visual stimuli, it is vital that from an early ages, and with the guided help of adults, develop their visual understanding in order that his comprehension of the images does not remain in anything superficially. In other words, they would know how to deepen as they grow, in the narrow gap between literature and art inside illustrated books. For these reasons, this work beside thinking about this topic, and the paper of the artistic education, also presents a series of offers of illustrated albums with which to work at the preschool classroom questions that happen day after day in our society

Análisis institucional de las prácticas de gestión ambiental de los campos de golf andaluces

En este trabajo estudiamos el entorno institucional que influye de una forma directa en el comportamiento medioambiental de estas organizaciones, analizando los distintos mecanismos que hemos encontrado y que fomentan un isomorfismo en prácticas respetuosas con el medio ambiente. En esta línea, nos hemos fijado como principal objetivo caracterizar el entorno o contexto en los que desarrolla su actividad empresarial los campos de golf andaluces, bajo el enfoque defendido por la Teoría Institucional y relacionando este marco teórico con la adopción, por parte de los campos de golf andaluces, de prácticas medioambientalmente sostenibles.__________________________________________________________In this thesis we study the institucional framework with a direct influence on the environmental performance of these organizations, analyzing the various mechanisms we have found and that foster an isomorphism in practices respectful with the environment. In this line, we have set as main objective to characterize the context in which Andalusian golf courses conduct their business, under the approach favoured by the Institutional Theory, and relating this theoretical framework with the adoption by Andalusian golf courses of environmentally sustainable practices

El entorno institucional de carácter medioambiental de los campos de golf andaluces: un análisis factorial

The main aim of this paper is the definition of the institutional environment in which Andalusian golf courses operate. A factor analysis has allowed us to identify the three pressu­res proposed by the Institutional Theory, which are sources of isomorphism in organizations. In particular, we have linked this kind of pressures to the environmental performance of golf courses in Andalusia, contributing to the debate in this region as a result of the increasing number of such facilities.El presente trabajo se marca como objetivo principal la tipificación del entorno institu­cional de carácter medioambiental en el que operan los campos de golf andaluces. Para ello se ha realizado un análisis factorial que ha permitido identificar las presiones propuestas por la Teoría Institucional y que son fuentes de isomorfismo en las organizaciones. En concreto, hemos vinculado este tipo de presiones al comportamiento medioambiental de los campos de golf andaluces, contribuyendo de esta manera al debate que en esta región ha propiciado el aumento de este tipo de instalaciones

An institutional approach to the environmental management systems of golf courses in Andalusia

In many tourist destinations, such as Andalusia in Spain, the number of golf courses has increased exponentially, which has generated a public debate about how to reconcile economic development and respect for the natural environment. This paper analyzes its highly institutionalized context - and the main practices that derive from it - and test empirically, in a sample of golf courses located in Andalusia, the relationships between these practices with its corresponding coercive, normative and mimetic mechanisms. Finally, its relationship with the performance of these organizations is established, testing if a direct or indirect relationship, through the search for legitimacy, exists, as suggested by the Institutional Theory

Bleaching Miscanthus x giganteus Acetosolvpulps with hydrogen peroxide/acetic acid.Part 2: Behaviour in acetic acid media

Miscanthus x giganteus   bark samples subjected to fractionation by Acetosolv process under optimal conditions were bleached using hydrogen peroxide in acetic acid medium. The influences of the main operational variables in the bleaching of Acetosolv pulps of  M. x giganteus (i.e. hydrogen peroxideconcentration (1,6-8,4%), temperature (48,2-81,8.C) and pH (1,8-5,2), have been assessed on pulp yield, kappa number, viscosity, saponifiable groups and brightness of pulps. In order to identify the optimum operating conditions, a rotatable and orthogonal second-order factorial design of experiments was used. Results from the fitting experimental data to empirical mathematical models demonstrate that in general the delignification was extensive, and pulps canachieved with kappa number below 15. The chemical composition and properties of the bleached pulps fulfilled the requirements for forthcoming bleaching stages. Moreover, the use of chelating agents in the hydrogen peroxide stagealong with the study of pH and time effects outside limits of the experimental design was studied

Familia, infancia y derechos : una mirada cualitativa desde la percepción adulta

Habitualmente los derechos de la infancia se asocian, casi de forma exclusiva, a la necesidad de proteger a los niños y niñas por su especial condición de vulnerabilidad. De esta forma se pone en evidencia no sólo el desequilibrio entre los tres principios básicos recogidos en la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño de 1989 (en adelante Convención): protección, provisión y participación, sino también el desconocimiento de la Convención y la resistencia que generan algunos derechos recogidos en la misma. En este sentido, la infancia, como parte de la ciudadanía, en ocasiones puede ver mermada sus posibilidades de estar presente de manera activa en los diferentes entornos en los que se desarrolla su vida, tal y como se reconoce en la Convención. Este artículo recoge, en versión reducida, las principales conclusiones obtenidas en un estudio centrado en conocer los discursos adultos sobre los derechos de la infancia en general, y los derechos políticos en particular realizado en la Comunidad de Madrid.Children’s Rights are usually linked to the necessity to protect children due to their condition of vulnerability. Anàlisi funcional de la Kidney androgen-regulated protein (KAP) : interacció amb ciclofilina B i implicacions en nefrotoxicitat provocada pe Ciclosporina A /

Consultable des del TDXTítol obtingut de la portada digitalitzadaEl nostre laboratori s'ha centrat des de fa anys en l'estudi del gen que codifica per a la Kidney Androgen-regulated Protein (KAP) al ronyó murí, utilitzant-lo com a model d'estudi dels mecanismes moleculars que controlen la regulació de l'expressió gènica mitjançant andrògens al ronyó. Aquest gen, expressat de manera exclussiva per les cèl·lules epitelials del túbul proximal renal, exhibeix un control multihormonal específic en els diferents segments del mateix, amb participació d'andrògens, estrògens i hormona tiroidal. La comparació de seqüències gèniques i de la proteïna deduïda de KAP amb les dipositades en les bases de dades, no revela cap homologia amb altres gens o proteïnes conegudes. Les anàlisis de predicció de dominis funcionals tampoc suggereixen una possible localització o funció per a la KAP. Malgrat això, la relativa abundància del mRNA de la KAP, la seva localització exclussiva a l'epiteli del túbul proximal renal i l'estricte control multihormonal de la seva expressió, suggereixen que es podria tractar d'una proteïna de rellevància en fisiologia renal, i per això l'objectiu d'aquesta tesi ha estat la identificació i caracterització funcional de la proteïna KAP. La producció d'anticossos monoclonals contra dos pèptids sintètics de la KAP ens ha permès identificar la proteïna endògena per immunohistoquímica i Western blot en ronyó murí. La distribució cel·lular i control androgènic es correspon amb la del mRNA i la seva mida aparent és de 20 KDa. La proteïna també ha estat expressada i caracteritzada en sistèmes heteròlegs tals com bacteris i llevat. Assaigs de dobles híbrids en llevat ens han permès observar que la KAP interacciona de manera específica amb el receptor de CsA, la CyPB, havent-se confirmat aquesta interacció mitjançant GST-Pulldown, co-immunoprecipitació i co-localització per microscopia confocal. Malgrat els beneficis de la CsA com a immunosupressor, evitant el rebuig en pacients trasplantats, el seu ús es veu limitat pels greus efectes tòxics que produeix al ronyó, especialment a les cèl·lules del túbul proximal renal. La interacció de KAP amb CyPB ens ha portat a analitzar els efectes de la CsA sobre la interacció KAP-CyPB i sobre la expressió de la KAP. Observem que la CsA no desplaça la interacció entre KAP i CyPB. Hem demostrat que la administració de CsA a ratolins de la soca C57BL/6, disminueix de manera significativa els nivells de proteïna KAP en extractes crus de ronyó. En línies cel·lulars de túbul proximal murí, la presència de CsA augmenta la secreció de la KAP al medi de cultiu. Tanmateix, la transfecció estable de KAP i la seva sobre-expressió controlada per tetraciclina en un sistema cel·lular de túbul proximal, disminueix de forma significativa la toxicitat per CsA.For years our laboratory has been focused on the gene that codes for the Kidney Androgen-regulated Protein (KAP) as a model to study the molecular mechanisms involved in the hormonal regulation of gene expression, mediated by androgens in mouse kidney. The KAP gene, expressed exclusively in the epithelial cells of proximal convoluted tubules, exhibits a multihormonal control of its expression in the different segments of proximal tubules, mediated by androgens, estrogens and thyroid hormone. Comparison of KAP nucleotide and amino acid sequences with sequences deposited in public databases has revealed that there is no homology with any known sequences that might indicate a possible function of the KAP protein. The relative abundance of the KAP mRNA and its exclusive localization in the epithelial cells of proximal convoluted tubules have suggested that the KAP protein might have a relevant function in kidney physiology. In this scenario, the main objective of this Thesis is the identification and functional characterization of the KAP protein. Production of monoclonal antibodies against two synthetic peptides of the KAP protein has allowed to identify the protein by Western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis in mouse kidney. The cellular distribution and androgenic control of its expression corresponds with that observed for the KAP mRNA and the protein has an apparent molecular weight of 20 kDa in SDS-PAGE gels. The protein has been also expressed and characterized in heterologous systems such as E. coli and Sacharomycces cerevisiae. By using the two-hybrid system in yeast we have been able to demonstrate that KAP interacts in a specific fashion with the Cyclosporin A (CsA) receptor, CypB. This interaction has been also proven by pulldown assays, co-immunoprecipitation and co-location using confocal microscopy. Although CsA is a potent immunosupressor, preventing the graft versus host disease in organ transplantation, its use has been limited by its deleterious side in the kidney, specially in the proximal tubule cells. The interaction between KAP and CypB pointed us to the study of the effects of CsA treatment on KAP-CyPB interaction, and on KAP expression. In our hands, CsA does not compete with KAP for CyPB interaction. We have shown that administration of CsA to C57BL/6 mice significantly diminishes the KAP protein levels in crude kidney extracts. In a cellular model, CsA treatment increases KAP secretion to the culture media. Also, stable transfection of KAP cDNA in a cellular system of proximal tubule cells has shown that overexpression of the KAP protein diminishes significantly the toxic effects of CsA in these cells
