Pairing Properties of Symmetric Nuclear Matter in Relativistic Mean Field Theory
The properties of pairing correlations in symmetric nuclear matter are
studied in the relativistic mean field (RMF) theory with the effective
interaction PK1. Considering well-known problem that the pairing gap at Fermi
surface calculated with RMF effective interactions are three times larger than
that with Gogny force, an effective factor in the particle-particle channel is
introduced. For the RMF calculation with PK1, an effective factor 0.76 give a
maximum pairing gap 3.2 MeV at Fermi momentum 0.9 fm, which are
consistent with the result with Gogny force.Comment: 14 pages, 6 figures
transitions in the light cone sum rules with the chiral current
semi-leptonic decays to the light scalar meson, , are investigated in the QCD
light-cone sum rules (LCSR) with chiral current correlator. Having little
knowledge of ingredients of the scalar mesons, we confine ourself to the two
quark picture for them and work with the two possible Scenarios. The resulting
sum rules for the form factors receive no contributions from the twist-3
distribution amplitudes (DA's), in comparison with the calculation of the
conventional LCSR approach where the twist-3 parts play usually an important
role. We specify the range of the squared momentum transfer , in which the
operator product expansion (OPE) for the correlators remains valid
approximately. It is found that the form factors satisfy a relation consistent
with the prediction of soft collinear effective theory (SCET). In the effective
range we investigate behaviors of the form factors and differential decay
widthes and compare our calculations with the observations from other
approaches. The present findings can be beneficial to experimentally identify
physical properties of the scalar mesons.Comment: 22 pages,16 figure
Study of the weak annihilation contributions in charmless decays
In this paper, in order to probe the spectator-scattering and weak
annihilation contributions in charmless (where stands for a
light vector meson) decays, we perform the -analyses for the end-point
parameters within the QCD factorization framework, under the constraints from
the measured , , and
decays. The fitted results indicate that the end-point
parameters in the factorizable and nonfactorizable annihilation topologies are
non-universal, which is also favored by the charmless and (where
stands for a light pseudo-scalar meson) decays observed in the previous
work. Moreover, the abnormal polarization fractions measured by the LHCb
collaboration can be reconciled through the weak annihilation corrections.
However, the branching ratio of decay exhibits a
tension between the data and theoretical result, which dominates the
contributions to in the fits. Using the fitted end-point
parameters, we update the theoretical results for the charmless
decays, which will be further tested by the LHCb and Belle-II experiments in
the near future.Comment: 31 pages, 4 figures, 6 table
