Loop Corrections to the Neutral Higgs Boson Sector of the MSSM with Explicit CP Violation
We compute one-loop corrections to the mass matrix of the neutral Higgs
bosons of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with explicit CP violation.
We use the effective potential method, allowing for arbitrary splitting between
squark masses. We include terms O(g^2 h^2), where g and h stand for electroweak
gauge and Yukawa couplings, respectively. Leading two-loop corrections are
taken into account by means of appropriately defined running quark masses.Comment: LaTeX, 12 pages incl. 3 figures. V.2: slightly rewritten to allow for

Woven fabric carbon fibre composites hybrid joints under quasi-static testing
Twill weave carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) hybrid adhesively bonded-bolted joints was investigated on bearing stress at failure in experimental programmes. The present paper comprises effects of joint type, normalised coupon width (W/d), laminate orientations and bolt load as specified in designed series. All CFRP hybrid joints exhibited cohesive failure before ultimate failure i.e., net-tension and bearing/net-tension failures. Bearing stress at failure was found to increase with normalized W/d and small W/d led to net-tension failure occurrence. Double-lap joints (DLJs) were stronger than single-lap joints (SLJs) due to secondary bending phenomenon in SLJs. Cross-ply presented greater strength than quasiisotropic lay-up caused by the presence of 0Ëš fibres orientation. Clamped condition (applied torque, T = 5 Nm) may change the critical W/d than finger-tight (FT) case as net-tension failures is likely to occur under clamped condition
Temperature- and magnetic-field-dependent resistivity of MgB2 sintered at high temperature and high pressure condition
We report the temperature- and magnetic-field-dependent resistivity of MgB2
sintered at high temperature and high pressure condition. The superconducting
transition width for the resistivity measurement was about 0.4 K, and the
low-field magnetization showed a sharp superconducting transition with a
transition width of about 1 K. The resistivity in the normal state roughly
followed T^2 behavior with smaller residual resistivity ratio (RRR) of 3 over
broad temperature region above 100 K rather than reported T^3 behavior with
larger RRR value of ~ 20 in the samples made at lower pressures. Also, the
resistivity did not change appreciably with the applied magnetic field, which
was different from previous report. These differences were discussed with the
microscopic and structural change due to the high-pressure sintering.Comment: 2 pages, 3 figures. Accepted by Physica

Model Predictive Direct Current Control (MPDCC) for Grid Connected Application
This paper deals with the design and simulation of Dual Active Bridge Multilevel Inverter (DABMI) based Model Predictive Direct Current Control (MPDCC) for grid connected application. To achieve multilevel output voltage waveforms, the second inverter will be supply with half of the dc-link voltage. Model predictive direct current control used to control the grid current component in order to achieve minimum grid current error. Modulation is unnecessary in this system because the switching pattern is produce by the possible switching that determined by the proposed MPDCC. The voltage vector which minimizes the cost function will be selected and applied to track the reference current. The performance of the proposed MPDCC is observe and implement by MATLAB/Simulink Software
Probing MSSM Higgs Sector with Explicit CP Violation at a Photon Linear Collider
The CP properties of Higgs bosons can be probed through their s-channel
resonance productions via photon-photon collisions by use of circularly and/or
linearly polarized backscattered laser photons at a TeV-scale linear e^+ e^-
collider. Exploiting this powerful tool, we investigate in detail the Higgs
sector of the minimal supersymmetric Standard Model with explicit CP violation.Comment: 18 pages, 5 figures. Some comments added and typos corrected. To
