Squarks in Tevatron Dilepton Events ?
We consider unusual events in the CDF and D0 dilepton+jets sample with very
high ET(lepton) and ET(missing). It is possible, but very unlikely, that these
events originate from top quark pair production; however, they have
characteristics that are better accounted for by decays of supersymmetric

Induced matter: Curved N-manifolds encapsulated in Riemann-flat N+1 dimensional space
Liko and Wesson have recently introduced a new 5-dimensional induced matter
solution of the Einstein equations, a negative curvature Robertson-Walker space
embedded in a Riemann flat 5-dimensional manifold. We show that this solution
is a special case of a more general theorem prescribing the structure of
certain N+1-dimensional Riemann flat spaces which are all solutions of the
Einstein equations. These solutions encapsulate N-dimensional curved manifolds.
Such spaces are said to "induce matter" in the sub-manifolds by virtue of their
geometric structure alone. We prove that the N-manifold can be any maximally
symmetric space.Comment: 3 page

For three decades, as he helped thousands of law students through the intricacies of the Rule in Shelley’s Case, or watched them calculate a “life in being plus twenty one years” for the Rule Against Perpetuities, he failed to appreciate that law school was supposed to be an amalgam of theory and confusion, not the place for his teaching law students about helping real people solve real life problems

Modelling evacuation using escalators: a London Underground dataset
This paper presents a brief analysis of an escalator human factors dataset collected in a London Underground (subway) station in England. The data analysis highlights and quantifies a variety of escalator human factors. Using the buildingEXODUS evacuation software, a series of evacuation scenarios of a hypothetical underground station are then presented. The simulation results demonstrate that escalator strategies and associated human factors can have a
