Nutzung hochaufloesender Satellitendaten zur Herstellung bergbaulicher Satellitenbildkarten Schlussbericht

The aim of the project was to investigate the suitability of high resolution satellite data (MOMS, IRS-1C) for the production of satellite image maps of the scale 1:25 000 and 1:10 000. This could be achieved using IRS-1C-data for the scale 1:25 000. In total 17 image map sheets of a region exposed to mining activities in Lusatia (East Germany) were produced. Among them image maps without any additional information as well as combined with different types of ground data (topographic information, infrastructure, planning data) were created. The scale of 1:10 000 was not achievable with the data available in the project.
