Simple Description of Pion-Pion Scattering to 1 GeV
Motivated by the 1/Nc expansion, we present a simple model of pion-pion
scattering as a sum of a `current-algebra' contact term and resonant pole
exchanges. The model preserves crossing symmetry as well as unitarity up to 1.2
GeV. Key features include chiral dynamics, vector meson dominance, a broad low
energy scalar (sigma) meson and a `Ramsauer-Townsend' mechanism for the
understanding of the 980 MeV region. We discuss in detail the `regularization'
(corresponding to rescattering effects) necessary to make all these nice
features work.Comment: 35 pages (LaTeX), 13 PostScript figures are included as

MODERN ASPECTS OF PATHOGENIC CORRECTION OF DEFORMATION OSTEARTROS
Among the invalidity reasons of osterotros (ÎÀ) takes a leading place among other therapeutic diseases. Osterotros has multifactorial pathogenetic with many recognized risk factors, such as age, sex, hereditary predisposition, excess weight, mechanical and hormonal factors. Treatment ÎÀ remains till now a difficult and unresolved problem. The main objective of treatment ÎÀ consists in pain reduction, improvement of functional insufficiency of joints, restriction of progressing of disease and finally improvement of quality of life of patients. The method of treatment at the concrete patient should be developed with the account of weight and prevalence of articulate defeat, the general status of the patient and presence of accompanying diseases. It should be directed on the decision of following problems: progressing delay, pain and inflammation reduction, decrease in risk of aggravations and defeat of new joints; improvement of quality of life and prevention individualism. In article it is considered various approaches of treatment named pathologies

Ocular hypotensive prostaglandin analogues (PGAs) are prodrugs that penetrate the cornea and become biologically active after hydrolysis by corneal esterase. They reduce intracranial pressure by increasing the uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humour and decreasing the outflow resistance. PGAs remain relevant as the first-line therapy drugs for patients with newly diagnosed glaucoma. The obvious exposure drawbacks of eye drops with preservatives have become prerequisites for the use of preservative-free medicines. Currently, it is recommended to use eye drops with preservatives less commonly, in the ideal case — only preservative-free products. In turn, the production of preservative-free drugs requires suitable carriers for the medicinal substance delivery — special vials (that do not depressurize when used) or monodoses. At present, reusable polymer dropper bottles have been developed, equipped with a valve that excludes the fluid intake return, a nozzle with ant ibacterial elements and an embedded sterilizing air filter. In the pharmaceutical market, travoprost is presented in the dosage form of eye drops, 0.04 mg/mL. This drug implements the described mechanism of drug storage and delivery. The review presents a meta-analysis on the comparative efficacy and tolerability of travoprost. Preservative-free travoprost presence on the pharmaceutical market in a special vial expands the range of available anti-glaucoma drugs.
Keywords: glaucoma, hypotensive therapy, preservative-free dosage forms, prostaglandin analogues, travoprost.

Climate Change and Extreme Weather Events in the Moscow Agglomeration
Abstract: Based on monitoring data (surface observationnetwork and satellites) and on the results of climate simulations withthe COSMO-CLM and ENVI-MET models, the dynamics of the urban heat island(UHI) and wet/dry island and their 3D structure for the Moscowagglomeration are investigated. It is found that the Moscow UHI ismaintained by the anthropogenic heat influx to the urban atmosphere. Tosome extent, UHI is self-induced due to the feedback mechanism(providing approximately 10% of the effect) between temperature and thedownward flux of longwave radiation. The UHI creates a counterclockwisecirculation of airflows. The UHI and its circulation system arelogically considered a product of self-organization, when a meso-betascale circulation system is generated under the influence of multipleactions of small (meso-gamma scale) impacts. The UHI is accompanied bythe wet/dry island. The domed three-dimensional structure of the islandsis disturbed under steady strong winds and is transformed into the plumestructure. The interannual trend towards the UHI strengthening is noted. This determines the effect of the warming acceleration related to theglobal warming and an increase in the discomfort effects in the Moscowurban system. The intense heat waves (1972, 2002, and 2010) which causedcatastrophic droughts and wildfires in the European part of Russia arethe major factor of vulnerability of the Moscow economy and population. In addition, the influence of the anomalies is amplified by the urbanenvironment. © 2020, Allerton Press, Inc
