The concepts of “repository” and “metadata” used in e-libraries and Internet resources are examined. The authors propose to make STEM projects repository a new form of projects preservation. The authors discuss repository hierarchical structure. They suggest to use two subject headings, i. e. student classification and tag clouds. Using these headings is characterized by specific character of STEM design. The examples of foreign repositories and their structure are provided, in particular SIEMENS repository and various formats of educational resources in such repositories. The authors introduce a new structure of data repository structured as a tag cloud comprising two areas – secondary school resources and academic resources. They point to the importance of resources of STEAM-STEM- projecting which is to support learning in natural sciences, to accumulate experiences of teachers, schoolchildren, professors and students in this area and to provide for prompt information retrieval and discovery of projects in various topics with interdisciplinary links and with the possibility of application in engineering disciplines.

Introduction. The formation of isthmic-cervical insufficiency (ICI) in 80% is associated with intraamnial inflammation, this is the subject of discussion of new mechanisms of the pathogenesis of premature cervical remodeling. In this regard, it is of interest to study the relationship of ICS with intrauterine and cervicovaginal infections during pregnancy and their impact on the course and outcomes of pregnancy, which was the purpose of our study.

Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation from Aqueous Methanol Solution over n-Butylamine-Intercalated Layered Titanate H2La2Ti3O10: Activity and Stability of the Hybrid Photocatalyst

    No full text
The stability of platinized n-butylamine-intercalated layered titanate H2La2Ti3O10 during the process of photocatalytic hydrogen production from aqueous methanol under UV irradiation has been thoroughly investigated by means of XRD, CHN, TG, 13C NMR, BET, SEM and GC-MS analysis. It was revealed that n-butylamine completely abandons the interlayer space and transforms into n-butyraldehyde within 3 h of the reaction, while the particle morphology and specific surface area of the photocatalyst are preserved. The resulting solid phase contains carbon in at least two different oxidation states, which are attributed to the intermediate products of methanol oxidation bound to the perovskite matrix. The activity of the photocatalyst formed in this way is stable in time and strongly depends on the medium pH, which is not typical of either the parent H2La2Ti3O10 or TiO2. An approximate linear equation φ ≈ 29−2∙pH holds for the apparent quantum efficiency of hydrogen production in the 220–340 nm range at 1 mol. % methanol concentration. In the acidic medium, the photocatalyst under study outperforms the platinized H2La2Ti3O10 by more than one order of magnitude. The variation in methanol concentration allowed a maximum quantum efficiency of hydrogen production of 44% at 10 mol. % to be reached

NMR Study of Intercalates and Grafted Organic Derivatives of H2La2Ti3O10

The protonated perovskite-like titanate H2La2Ti3O10 has been used to produce organic-inorganic hybrids with simple organic molecules: methylamine, methanol, monoethanolamine, and n-butylamine. The optimal pathways for the preparation of such hybrids are summarized. Solid-state NMR, combined with thermal analysis, Raman, and IR spectroscopy, has been applied to determine the bonding type in the obtained organic-inorganic hybrids. It has been found that, in the methanolic hybrid, the organic residues are covalently bound to the inorganic matrix. In contrast, in the methylamine and n-butylamine hybrids, the organic molecules are intercalated into the inorganic matrix in cationic forms. The structure of the monoethanolamine hybrid is composite and includes both the covalently bound and intercalated organic species

Aim. Of the study is to assess cervical mucus neutrophils functional status depend on dominant lactobacillus strain in I trimester of pregnancy women. Material and methods. We definded 40 lactobacillus strains obtained from the genital tract of the pregnant women. We used mass spectrometry analysis to identify vaginal lactobacilli and evaluated biofilm formation. Also, we studied cervical mucus neutrophils viability, lysosomal activity, spontaneous and induced NBT test (Nitroblue Tetrazolium test), ability to absorb the latex particles. Isolated strains were divided into 3 groups depending on presence or absence of vaginal or cervical channel infectious diseases. Results. We identified 5 lactobacilli types: L. jensenii, L. mspatus, L. аcidophilus, L. gasseri, L. delbrueckii among 40 definded strains. We determined different intensity of phagocytosis depending on dominant strain in normocenosis. With the L. crispatus prevalence demonstrated the least intensity of phagocytosis compared with L. acidophilus and L.jensenii. Lactobacilli able to intensively produce biomatrix in condition of genital infection. Thus blocking antigenic potential and result in absence of NBT-reducing power of neutrophilic granulocytes and reduction antimicrobial protection of pregnant women genital tract mucosa. Conclusion. The indicators of neutrophils functional status depend on dominant lactobacilli strain in I trimester of pregnancy women
