Background: Previous studies done during SARS 2003 outbreak and early reports related to COVID-19 show that healthcare workers experience considerable anxiety, stress and fear. Although similar studies were done in other parts of India, there is dearth of data on this topic in the Northeastern region. Aim: This study aimed to assess the mental health status of Healthcare Workers during Covid-19 pandemic in the region. Methods: The study was conducted among the doctors and nurses of a Northeastern state of India through an online survey. PHQ-9, GAD-7 and ISI scales were used to assess depression, anxiety and insomnia among the participants. Results: The prevalence of depression, anxiety and insomnia among the HCWs was 74.5%, 42% and 32%, respectively. Moderate to Severe form of depression, anxiety and insomnia was experienced by 15.5%, 20.5% and 8.5%, respectively. Females and those who directly cared for Covid-19 patients were more prone to suffer from depression. Participants who reported having previous history of any psychological problems reported eight-fold, seven-fold and three-fold increased odds of developing depression, anxiety and insomnia, respectively, during the pandemic. Conclusions: A large proportion of HCWs reported symptoms of depression, anxiety and insomnia among the healthcare workers. Protecting the mental health of these health workers is paramount to ensure psychological wellbeing, which in turn will ensure a healthy and robust workforce. Relevance for Patients: Improves the productivity of Healthcare workers in terms of Patient care and Management

A new and innovative technology called Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) has been developed in the past few years which are an alternate solution for wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi). Li-Fi uses light source as a transmitting medium for data transmission. The data is transmitted by flickering the light source (i.e. switching them On and Off) at a speed that cannot be noticeable to the eye. In this proposed article, wireless data transfer b e t w e e n t w o systems is established with the support of Li-Fi technology. Here data is transmitted from Tx PC via the LASER module that is driven by the Arduino UNO. On the receiver side data will be received on Rx PC using the photodiode (Solar panel), which is also connected to the Arduino UNO to extract the original data from the light. Li-Fi provides better bandwidth, efficiency, connectivity and security than WiFi and achieved high speeds larger than 1 Gbps under the laboratory conditions. The experimental report shows that the bit rate is enhanced using the proposed system and reached up to 147 bps with 1 0 0 % accuracy, over a 50 cm di sta nc e . And the setup also made it simpler than others out there and overall cost also reduce

Introduction: The effect of COVID-19-related changes (such as disturbance of face-to-face human association, breakdown of propensities, vulnerability almost long-term, money related frailty, and depression) on people's mental well-being.  The enormous utilize of the Web can be a double-edged sword: on the one hand, get to to innovation has cultivated people's well-being and has encouraged the get to to social back; on the other hand, it may have turned into tricky utilize, particularly with respect to compulsive utilize and cognitive distraction.  Methods: A sample of 311 was calculated by using the Raosoft software. Descriptive analysis, univariate analysis and multivariate analysis were carried out. Binary logistic regression and multiple logistic regression were used for analysis to access the associated factors with internet addiction. Results: The majority of respondents 323(61.5%) belonged to the normal level of internet addiction, which was followed by Moderate level of internet addiction by 113(21.5%) respondents. 8(1.5%) respondents were severely addicted to internet. Conclusion: During COVID 19 pandemic, the prevalence of psychological problems such as Internet Addiction increased especially among young adults. Therefore, national policy should be refined to reduce the stressful lifestyle in order to reduce the impact of internet addiction especially for young adults in India
