    Hadronic transitions of the chi(cj)(1P) states have not been studied yet. We calculate the rate of the hadronic transition chi(c1)(1P) to eta(c) plus two pions in the framework of QCD multipole expansion.     Plasma Wave Instabilities in Non-Equilibrium Graphene

    We study two-stream instabilities in a non-equilibrium system in which a stream of electrons is injected into doped graphene. As with equivalent non-equilibrium parabolic band systems, we find that the graphene systems can support unstable charge-density waves whose amplitudes grow with time. We determine the range of wavevector q\boldsymbol{q} that are unstable, and their growth rates. We find no instability for waves with wavevectors parallel or perpendicular to the direction of the injected carriers. We find that, within the small wavevector approximation, the angle between q\boldsymbol{q} and the direction of the injected electrons that maximizes the growth rate increases with increasing q\boldsymbol{|q|}. We compare the range and strength of the instability in graphene to that of two and three dimensional parabolic band systems.Comment: 21 pages, 7 figure

    B-meson Semi-inclusive Decay to 2+2^{-+} Charmonium in NRQCD and X(3872)

    The semi-inclusive B-meson decay into spin-singlet D-wave 2+2^{-+} charmonium, Bηc2+XB\to \eta_{c2}+X, is studied in nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD). Both color-singlet and color-octet contributions are calculated at next-to-leading order (NLO) in the strong coupling constant αs\alpha_s. The non-perturbative long-distance matrix elements are evaluated using operator evolution equations. It is found that the color-singlet 1D2^1D_2 contribution is tiny, while the color-octet channels make dominant contributions. The estimated branching ratio B(Bηc2+X)B(B\to \eta_{c2}+X) is about 0.41×1040.41\,\times10^{-4} in the Naive Dimensional Regularization (NDR) scheme and 1.24×1041.24\,\times10^{-4} in the t'Hooft-Veltman (HV) scheme, with renormalization scale μ=mb=4.8\mu=m_b=4.8\,GeV. The scheme-sensitivity of these numerical results is due to cancelation between 1S0[8]{}^1S_0^{[8]} and 1P1[8]{}^1P_1^{[8]} contributions. The μ\mu-dependence curves of NLO branching ratios in both schemes are also shown, with μ\mu varying from mb2\frac{m_b}{2} to 2mb2m_b and the NRQCD factorization or renormalization scale μΛ\mu_{\Lambda} taken to be 2mc2m_c. Comparison of the estimated branching ratio of Bηc2+XB\to \eta_{c2}+X with the observed branching ratio of BX(3872)+KB \to X(3872)+K may lead to the conclusion that X(3872) is unlikely to be the 2+2^{-+} charmonium state ηc2\eta_{c2}.Comment: Version published in PRD, references added, 26 pages, 9 figure

    Observing various phase transitions in the holographic model of superfluidity

    We study the gravity duals of supercurrent solutions in the AdS black hole background with general phase structure to describe both the first and the second order phase transitions at finite temperature in strongly interacting systems. We argue that the conductivity and the pair susceptibility can be possible phenomenological indications to distinguish the order of phase transitions. We extend our discussion to the AdS soliton configuration. Different from the black hole spacetime, in the probe limit the first order phase transition cannot be brought by introducing the spatial component of the vector potential of the gauge field in the AdS soliton background.Comment: 12 pages, 8 figures, accepted for publication in Phys.Rev.

    Theoretical studies of 63Cu Knight shifts of the normal state of YBa2Cu3O7

    The 63Cu Knight shifts and g factors for the normal state of YBa2Cu3O7 in tetragonal phase are theoretically studied in a uniform way from the high (fourth-) order perturbation formulas of these parameters for a 3d9 ion under tetragonally elongated octahedra. The calculations are quantitatively correlated with the local structure of the Cu2+(2) site in YBa2Cu3O7. The theoretical results show good agreement with the observed values, and the improvements are achieved by adopting fewer adjustable parameters as compared to the previous works. It is found that the significant anisotropy of the Knight shifts is mainly attributed to the anisotropy of the g factors due to the orbital interactions.Comment: 5 page

    Investigations of the g factors and local structure for orthorhombic Cu^{2+}(1) site in fresh PrBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6+x} powders

    The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) g factors g_x, g_y and g_z of the orthorhombic Cu^{2+}(1) site in fresh PrBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6+x} powders are theoretically investigated using the perturbation formulas of the g factors for a 3d^9 ion under orthorhombically elongated octahedra. The local orthorhombic distortion around the Cu^{2+}(1) site due to the Jahn-Teller effect is described by the orthorhombic field parameters from the superposition model. The [CuO6]^{10-} complex is found to experience an axial elongation of about 0.04 {\AA} along c axis and the relative bond length variation of about 0.09 {\AA} along a and b axes of the Jahn-Teller nature. The theoretical results of the g factors based on the above local structure are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data.Comment: 6 pages, 1 figur

    The purpose of this paper is to analyze disharmony between SFAS No. 13, 16, and 19 which are adopted from Internatonal Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS 2009) and Law no. 36 of 2008 and Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 79/PMK 03/2008 about the Revaluation of Fixed Assets, Investment Property, and Intangible Assets. The Authors use descriptive analysis method in this paper. The analysis showed that (1) There are no major obstacles in implementing the revaluation model under SFAS No. 13 and 19 with the tax regulation, (2) The application of SFAS No. 16 is not in line with the Law No. 36 of 2008 and Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 79/PMK 03/2008, (3) There are 7 dysharmony between SFAS No. 16 with the Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 79/PMK 03/2008 with the level of problem: 3 are major, 3 are medium, and 1 is minor. Disharmony can cause companies reluctant to report their assets at fair value as required under the revaluation model. Though the information of assets which is measured by fair value is needed by investors and creditors in their economic decision-making. Therefore, the author suggesting the application of revaluation model is separated between fiscal and commercial financial reporting. Considering the purpose of SFAS and Law No. 36 of 2008 and Regulation of the Minister of Finance No.79/PMK 03/2008 basically different, the author recommendation can be considered by regulators
