Социология компетентности и модель компетенций как области научного и практического интереса

The article examines the history of the use of the term “competence” and related terms in sociology, linguistics, pedagogy and practice of human resource management to identify the area of “sociology of competence”. Discussion points of the terms interpretations of the semantic sphere of “competence/competency” are considered by experts from different countries. On this basis, we propose a Universal competence-model that enables diverse professionals to work out a “common language” to contemporary social practices for discussing the relevant issues of competence assessment and development.В статье анализируется история употребления термина “компетентность” и родственных ему терминов в социологии, лингвистике, педагогике и практике управления персоналом, что позволяет обозначить область “социологии компетентности”. Рассматриваются дискуссионные моменты трактовки специалистами разных стран терминов из смысловой сферы “компетенция/компетентность”. На этом основании предлагается универсальная модель компетенций, которая дает разнородным специалистам возможность выработки “общего языка” при обсуждении актуальных для современной общественной практики проблем оценки и развития компетентности
