The leukocytes phagocytic activity against Bacillus subtilis and agromerulated latex particles in representatives of bony fish, amphibians and reptiles under reduced medium osmolarity conditions was studied. It was found that in moderate hypotension compared with isotonia, the white blood cells absorption capacity of the fish was not changed, but it was reduced for amphibians and reptile

The development of radio and 3G based telemetry system for the remote gas accounting and control nodes

In this article we have described the use of vortex and recently developed ultrasonic flowmeters with high dynamic range of 1 to 1500 for industrial applications. Its software and the software of corresponding computing device is able to avoid gas leakage, to minimize energy consumption and to save human resources while maintaining metrological data. Described is the low power consumption that makes it possible to use this ultrasonic flowmeter in hard remote environment without direct management for a period of several month

Hantavirus Associated with Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome Outbreak in the Saratov Region in 2019

Pathogenic hantaviruses, belonging to the family Hantaviridae, genus Orthohantavirus, are widely spread in many regions of the world and cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) in Europe and Asia. In the European Russia, the most active HFRS foci are located in the optimum habitat area of natural reservoir of the Puumala virus (PUUV), bank voles (Myodes glareolus), – in the Middle Volga and Cis-Urals. The largest number of cases of HFRS was registered in the Volga Federal District. In 2019, an outbreak of HFRS was registered among the residents of Saratov and the Saratov Region, the number of cases was 2702. Objective of the study was genetic identification of hantaviruses from HFRS patients and rodent carriers and phylogenetic analysis of full-size genomes from natural hosts during HFRS outbreak in the Saratov Region, 2019. Materials and methods. Blood samples of 8 HFRS patients from Saratov and 3 lung samples of bank voles captured in the suburb of Saratov were analyzed using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, followed by sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. Results and discussion. A total of 6 viral RNA isolates from HFRS patients were genetically typed, full-length RNA-isolate genomes were obtained for 3 natural carriers. Our data indicate that PUUV virus was associated with HFRS outbreak in Saratov. Genetic analysis revealed that the virus belonged to RUS lineage of PUUV, related most closely to strains from Udmurtia and Tatarstan and differed from strains circulating in the territory of Bashkortostan and Samara Region

Management of Epizootiological Investigation in the Context of Mass Event (by the Example of the XXVII Worldwide Summer Universiade in Kazan, 2013)

In consequence of epizootiological investigation, differentiated has been Kazan territory according to the potential epidemic hazard levels; determined is the abundance of carriers and vectors of natural-focal infection agents in and around the territory of the Summer Universiade-2013; substantiated is the scope of preventive measures (disinfection, deratization, desinsection), as well as their frequency and coverage area. Timely detection of the regions with expressed epizootic potential growth has made it possible to carry out prophylactic activities and reach an epidemic-hazard-lowering effect as regards particular territories of the natural and anthropourgic infectious disease foci. Further on, validated has been disinfection as part of specific prophylaxis and as a basic measure for elimination of risks of the population exposure to natural-focal infections directly during the mass event

Management of Work and Procedure for the Laboratory Diagnostics of Infectious Diseases during the Winter XXII Olympics and XI Paralympics, 2014

Analyzed is the management system for laboratory diagnostics of infectious diseases during the XXII Olympics and XI Paralympics, 2014 in Sochi. Reviewed is piece of work, executed in the pre-Olympic period as regards provision of laboratory facilities deployed for clinical material investigation, development of normative and regulatory documentation which considers peculiarities of the situation, identification of diagnostic capacities of the laboratories, and forecasting of the probable volume of laboratory studies by reference to various groups of infections. Put forward is the procedure for arrangement of work at the different stages of laboratory diagnostics, cooperation and response in case of emergency situation in the sphere of sanitary-epidemiological welfare of the population. Discussed is the role of geo-information system and current means of monitoring over epidemiological situation in the participating states and in the region of the Olympics in laboratory support organization

Provided are the data on the management and carrying out of the laboratory control over the hot-water supply systems of the sports venues and accommodation areas for the presence of Legionella pneumophila during the XXII Olympics and XI Paralympics in Sochi, 2014. Inspected have been 105 facilities. The samples from 37 of them showed positive. L. pneumophila DNA concentration varies between 2.19·102 and 3.92·107 genome equivalents (g.e.)/l. By means of bacteriological investigation detected have been legionella colonies in the water supply systems of 16 facilities, at one of the items - the loading is over 1·104 colony-forming units/l. Performed has been comparative analysis of the results obtained using PCR assay and bacteriological test. Based on the genotyping of 7 isolated strains serogroup 1 and 2 strains of 2-14 serogroups it is concluded that L. pneumophila strains circulating in the resort town Sochi are genetically heterogeneous

Dialectal vocabulary of labour activities of the people residing on the banks of the Nepryadva River

    No full text
The main goal of this article is to draw readers' attention to the dialectal vocabulary, which belongs to the thematic group of labour. Dialectal vocabulary is most often associated with historical facts, it reflects the traditional worldview of a person, his/her system of values. The article considers lexical units that were recorded on a territory rich in its historical and cultural past. This article is devoted to the analysis of dialectal vocabulary, reflecting labour activity and professional occupation of people living in the basin of the upper reaches of the Nepryadva River. Since ancient times, the population of this region was engaged in various activities and crafts. The thematic group “Labour activity” comprises a whole complex of subgroups that have repeatedly become the subject of consideration by linguists. In the framework of the article, the authors focus on the lexical empirical material that exists in the Tula group of dialects. They analyze a particular part of lexis that reflects important areas of human activity, such as field cultivation, gardening, horticulture, animal husbandry, poultry farming. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the dialectal vocabulary of the specified thematic group is a system, and the selected empirical material makes it possible to see the identity in the dialects of the studied settlements and certain differences. It should be emphasized that, despite the persistent tendency to leveling, dialectal lexical units related to the thematic group of labour continue to exist in modern dialects of the Russian language. The considered lexical units and samples of dialectal professional discourse require further scientific consideration
