Wedge disclination in the field theory of elastoplasticity
In this paper we study the wedge disclination within the elastoplastic defect
theory. Using the stress function method we found exact analytical solutions
for all characteristic fields of a straight wedge disclination in a cylinder.
The elastic stress, elastic strain, elastic bend-twist, displacement and
rotation have no singularities at the disclination line. We found a modified
stress function for the wedge disclination.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figure
Affine symmetry in mechanics of collective and internal modes. Part I. Classical models
Discussed is a model of collective and internal degrees of freedom with
kinematics based on affine group and its subgroups. The main novelty in
comparison with the previous attempts of this kind is that it is not only
kinematics but also dynamics that is affinely-invariant. The relationship with
the dynamics of integrable one-dimensional lattices is discussed. It is shown
that affinely-invariant geodetic models may encode the dynamics of something
like elastic vibrations

Relations between structural and dynamic thermal characteristics of building walls
The effect of internal thermal structure on dynamic characteristics of walls is analyzed. The concept of structure factors is introduced and the conditions they impose on response factors are given. Simple examples of multilayer walls, representing different types of thermal resistance and capacity distribution, are analyzed to illustrate general relations between structure factors and response factors. The idea of the ``thermally equivalent wall``, a plane multilayer structure, with dynamic characteristics similar to those of a complex structure, in which three-dimensional heat flow occurs, is presented
PV/Wind hybrid system for the low energy family house
Photovoltaic-wind hybrid system for the low energy small family house with four inhabitants has been analyzed, using 10-year hourly meteorological data for Warsaw. Energy demand for space heating has been calculated using the Typical Meteorological Year data, together with energy demand for domestic water heating. The system can deliver, on average, 75% of the necessary energy for electricity and 26% for water heating

Dynamic test method of PCM content in fiberous insulation
Przedstawiono koncepcję metodyki prowadzenia testowych pomiarów zawartości materiału fazowo-zmiennego, w dużych i w założeniu jednorodnych próbkach izolacji z włókna szklanego lub celulozy, z użyciem aparatu płytowego. Podano sposób szacowania stałej czasowej próbki w procesie ustalania się strumienia ciepła po skoku temperatury.Dynamic test method of PCM content in fiberous insulation is considered. Heat balance of a sample of material with PCM is analyzed. Time constants for 7.6 cm thick samples of PCM-Enhanced Cellulose Insulation are estimated
