    Research of the developed gel intracorneal colored implants for keratopigmentation based on various materials. Experimental study

    Purpose. Evaluation of the impact of the developed i ntracorneal gel stained implants for keratopigmentation based on various materials on the donor human cornea duri ng organotypic cultivation.Material and methods. Three experimental samples of intracorneal gel stained implants were investigated: sample 1 based on sodium hyaluronate with organic pigment, sample 2 based on collagen hydrolyzate with inorganic pigment, and sample 3 based on hydroxypropyl methylcellulose with organic pigment. To determine the toxicity of the studied implants the apoptosis of keratocytes was determined in cryostat sections of the cornea. The method of immunohistochemistry was used to study apoptosis. Scanning electron microscopy was used to visualize the corneal structures in the presence of implants.Results. During the investigation we showed that a gel implant based on a collagen hydrolyzate and a pigment with an inorganic toner (28% in the composition) causes a weak expression of the initiator proteins of apoptosis Caspasa 8 and Cytochrome C, and there is no expression of the BAX and effector proteins Caspasa 3/7. It was revealed that samples No. 1 and No. 3 undergo partial dissolution and washout from the intrastromal tunnel, sample No. 2 based on collagen hydrolyzate has a dense structure and remains in the corneal tunnel throughout the entire cultivation period, for at least 7 days, which is showed using an electronscanning microscopy. The proposed collagen hydrolyzate gel implant can be considered compact and non-toxic.Conclusion. As a result of organotypic cultivation for 7 days showed the best results intracorneal colored implant No. 2 based hydrolyzate of collagen and inorganic toner. Intracorneal colored implant based on collagen hydrolyzate has a more compact and dense structure than the accompanying experimental samples

    Analysis of the Structure and Dynamics of Gynecological Morbidity and Extragenital Pathology in Rural Women

    Background. The reproductive health of women is an important aspect of health that affects the reproduction of the population and its quality and is of great importance in maintaining the stable development of society, normal fertility and demographic growth of the population. The unfavorable situation concerning reproductive health of rural women requires more attention and detailed socio-hygienic and medico-demographic study. Aim of the research. To study the structure and dynamics of gynecological morbidity in rural women on the example of women living in Ekhirit-Bulagatsky district of the Irkutsk region over a period of 2015–2019, and of extragenital pathology in pregnant women.Materials and methods. The analysis of the structure and dynamics of gynecological morbidity in women (n = 1044), and of extragenital pathology in pregnant women (n = 1314) was carried out in the Regional Hospital N 2 of the UstOrdynsky settlement in 2015–2019. Statistical data processing was carried out using standard  techniques.Results. Gynecological morbidity in the female population in this rural area over a period from 2015 to 2019 tended to increase. The relationship between this growth and the coverage of the population with preventive medical examination was studied. The correlation between these factors is direct, strong and statistically  significant (r xy = 0.963; p > 99 %). In the structure of extragenital pathology of pregnant women, anemias  and diseases of the endocrine system occupy a special place.Conclusion. The greater the percentage of female population covered by preventive medical examination, the higher the rate of gynecological morbidity. In the structure of gynecological morbidity in rural women, erosion is in the first place, endometriosis is in second, and uterine myoma is in third. In the structure of extragenital pathology among pregnant women, anemia, thyroid diseases, and diabetes mellitus prevail. The results  indicate the need for a differentiated treatment and diagnostic approach to the management of pregnancy, as well as the development and implementation of comprehensive programs aimed at the formation of reproductive health

    Optical spectroscopy of the radio pulsar PSR B0656+14

    We have obtained the spectrum of a middle-aged PSR B0656+14 in the 4300-9000 AA range with the ESO/VLT/FORS2. Preliminary results show that at 4600-7000 AA the spectrum is almost featureless and flat with a spectral index $\alpha_nu ~ -0.2 that undergoes a change to a positive value at longer wavelengths. Combining with available multiwavelength data suggests two wide, red and blue, flux depressions whose frequency ratio is about 2 and which could be the 1st and 2nd harmonics of electron/positron cyclotron absorption formed at magnetic fields ~10^8G in upper magnetosphere of the pulsar.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures, To appear in Astrophysics and Space Science, Proceedings of "Isolated Neutron Stars: from the Interior to the Surface", eds.     Subaru optical observations of the old pulsar PSR B0950+08

    We report the B band optical observations of an old (17.5 Myr) radiopulsar PSR B0950+08 obtained with the Suprime-Cam at the Subaru telescope. We detected a faint object, B=27.07(16). Within our astrometrical accuracy it coincides with the radio position of the pulsar and with the object detected earlier by Pavlov et al. (1996) in UV with the HST/FOC/F130LP. The positional coincidence and spectral properties of the object suggest that it is the optical counterpart of PSR B0950+08. Its flux in the B band is two times higher than one would expect from the suggested earlier Rayleigh-Jeans interpretation of the only available HST observations in the adjacent F130LP band. Based on the B and F130LP photometry of the suggested counterpart and on the available X-ray data we argue in favour of nonthermal origin of the broad-band optical spectrum of PSR B0950+08, as it is observed for the optical emission of the younger, middle-aged pulsars PSR B0656+14 and Geminga. At the same time, the optical efficiency of PSR B0950+08, estimated from its spin-down power and the detected optical flux, is by several orders of magnitude higher than for these pulsars, and comparable with that for the much younger and more energetic Crab pulsar. We cannot exclude the presence of a compact, about 1'', faint pulsar nebula around PSR B0950+08, elongated perpendicular to the vector of its proper motion, unless it is not a projection of a faint extended object on the pulsar position.Comment: 8 pages, LaTeX, aa.cls style, 5 PS figures, submitted to A&A.     Термодинамико-топологический анализ бутанольно-толуольной смеси

    The object of the research is a butanol-toluene mixture (BLS), which is a waste product of organosilicon enamels and consists of organic substances. In order to create a basic technological scheme of separation, thermodynamic-topological analysis was applied that takes into account the peculiarities of the rectification process in the poly-azeotrope mixture. The presence of 7 binary and 5 ternary azeotropes in the system was found. Singular points of the pentatope are considered. The distillation and rectification zones are determined. Flow graphs options separation were drawn, which can be the basis for the development of a technological scheme for the separation of the studied mixtures.В работе проведен термодинамико-топологический анализ бутанольно-толуольной смеси, образующейся в качестве отхода в лакокрасочной промышленности. Представлен анализ концентрационного образа изучаемой смеси - пентатопа, рассмотрены составляющие его симплексы меньшей размерности - тетраэдры.     Surgical removal of tumors in the area of the craniovertebral junction (on the example of a clinical case of robotic transoral chordoma removal)

    The article deals with the clinical case and tactics of robotic transoral removal of a malignant tumor (chordoma) of the C2 vertebra found in a patient 27 years after a car accident. This case was taken from the publications of the Pennsylvania Medical University. We also describe the etiology, morphology, markers, and diagnostic methods of chordoma. We analyzed the surgical approaches used to remove craniovertebral junction tumors and the stages of using these approaches in Russia.В статье рассмотрен клинический случай и тактика роботизированного трансорального удаления злокачественной опухоли (хордомы) С2 позвонка, обнаруженной у пациента 27 лет после автомобильной аварии. Данный случай был взят из публикаций Пенсильванского медицинского университета. Также нами описаны этиология, морфология, ИГХ-маркеры и методы диагностики хордомы. Мы проанализировали оперативные доступы, применяемые для удаления опухолей краниовертебрального перехода и этапы применения этих доступов в Росси
