Heap - ternary algebraic structure
In this paper some classes of ternary algebraic structures (semi-heaps, heaps) are considered. The connection between heaps (laterally commutative heaps) and corresponding algebraic
and geometric structures is presented.
The equivalence of heap existence and the Desargues system on the same set is directly proved. It is the starting point for an analogous
result about a laterally commutative heap and a parallelogram space
Adsorption of a synthetic heparinoid polyelectrolyte on an ion-exchanging surface
The adsorption of a synthetic heparinoid polyelectrolyte on poly(vinylchloride) previously treated with tridodecylmethylammonium chloride (TDMAC) was studied using radiotracer techniques to provide a more quantitative picture of antithrombogenic surface coatings. 125I-labeled polyelectrolyte was used for overall adsorption measurements. Experiments with 36Cl-labeled TDMAC yielded information on actually adsorbed polyelectrolyte segments in good agreement with existing theory. A large excess of free dangling segments was found. In the presence of NaCl the total adsorption was diminished, although no desorption occurred on treatment of adsorbates with 0.15 M NaCl or blood plasma
GS-trapezoids in GS-quasigroups
In this paper the concept of a GS-trapezoid in a GS-quasigroup is defined and some characterizations of that are proved and geometrical representation of the properties of the quaternary relation GST in the GS-quasigroup is given
Synthetic heparinoids labelled with 125I and 35S
The labelling of a water-soluble synthetic polyelectrolyte, having anticoagulant activity, has been studied. The polyelectrolyte is derived from cis-1,4-polyisoprene and contains N-sulfate and carboxylate groups. [125I]-Iodination of the polyelectrolyte, using the Chloramine-T method and an electrolytic method, resulted in a [125I]-labelled polyelectrolyte from which release of the label occurred. Resulfation of a partially desulfated polyelectrolyte with a [35S]-sulfur trioxide trimethylamine complex resulted in a [35S]-labelled polyelectrolyte which showed no release of the label
The Comparison Between Measured and Calculated Values of Gamma Ray Absorption on Lead Nitrate Solutions
The method of conc entration determination of l ead nitrate
solutions in the concentration range up to 20 grams per 100 ml by
g amma rays absorption measurements was described. GOCo and 1s1 cs
were used as gamma r ay sources. The gamma ray intensities were
measured using a sc intillation co unter.
Using a simple equation for the absorption of gamma rays , the
equation which contains the directly measured values only, was
developed. Using that equation the absorption for all used concentrations
was calcula ted . The agreem ent between measured and
calculate d values is fairly well. The possible reason of obtained
dis ag reement is discussed
DGS-trapezoids in GS-quasigroups
The concept of the DGS-trapezoid is defined and investigated in any GS-quasigroup and geometrical interpretation in the GS-quasigroup is also given. The connection of this concept with GS-trapezoids in the general GS-quasigroup is obtained
GS-deltoids in GS-quasigroups
A "geometric\u27\u27 concept of the GS-deltoid is introduced and investigated in the general GS-quasigroup and geometrical interpretation in the GS-quasigroup is given. The connection of GS-deltoids with parallelograms, GS-trapezoids, DGS-trapezoids and affine regular pentagons in the general GS-quasigroup is obtained
Metrical relationships in a standard triangle in an isotropic plane
Each allowable triangle of an isotropic plane can be set in a
standard position, in which it is possible to prove geometric properties analytically in a simplified and easier way by means of
the algebraic theory developed in this paper
Six concyclic points
The theorem about six concyclic points, some of them obtained by means of the symmedians and a median of a triangle, is proved in [1] applying two auxiliary theorems and some complex studies.
In this paper the statement of that theorem is a result of some simple
considerations
