    Unexpected rules using a conceptual distance based on fuzzy ontology

    AbstractOne of the major drawbacks of data mining methods is that they generate a notably large number of rules that are often obvious or useless or, occasionally, out of the user’s interest. To address such drawbacks, we propose in this paper an approach that detects a set of unexpected rules in a discovered association rule set. Generally speaking, the proposed approach investigates the discovered association rules using the user’s domain knowledge, which is represented by a fuzzy domain ontology.     Among all the different architectures being researched in the field of multi-agent systems, the mobile agent has shown to be one of the most challenging and most critical systems. With more applications being developed, there is a need to ensure large and complicated mobile agent systems are functioning correctly, with minimum or no errors. Moreover, the model-based testing technique has gained attention with the popularization of models in software design and development. Since the paradigm on nets within nets is well suited to express the dynamics of open mobile agents, it is retained as an abstract model from which abstract test cases are generated. Those test cases are then concretized and addressed to the system under test. The responses of the system under test are, finally, compared to the expected results derived from the abstract test model. As a case study, we modeled a packet world example on which different colored packets are scattered.     MATT: Multi Agents Testing Tool Based Nets within Nets

    Testing is a software development activity, devoted to evaluating product quality and improving it by identifying defects and problems. Concerning multi agent systems, testing is a challenging task, which asks for new testing techniques dealing with their specific nature. The techniques need to be effective and adequate to evaluate agent’s autonomous behaviors and build confidence in them.The "Model Based Testing" (MBT) is a technique particularly interested among  all existing  solutions  of   tests. This  latter is  based on a  system model, which produces  abstract  test cases. To run these last ones against systems under test,the abstract test cases have to be transformed to concrete ones. As part of this effort, we propose a model based testing approach for multi agent systems based on such a model called Reference net, where a tool, which aims to providing a uniform and automated approach is developed. The feasibility and the advantage of the proposed approach are shown through a short case study
