QED Penguin Contributions To Isospin Splittings of Heavy-Light Quark Systems
Recent experiments show that the isospin-violating mass splitting of the B
mesons is very small, but the best fits with a QCD sum rule analysis give a
splitting of at least 1.0 MeV. The isospin-violating mass splittings of the
charmed mesons, on the other hand, are in agreement with experiment. In this
letter we show that the inclusion of 2 kind QED penguin diagrams can
account for this discrepancy within the errors in the QCD sum rule method.Comment: 9 pages, latex, 2 figure
Sigma and Pion Decays of Mixed Heavy Hybrids
We estimate the relative branching ratio of to 2 for the decay
of the , which we have found to be a mixed charm and hybrid
charmonium meson. The external field method and correlators from a previous
calculation are used to estimate these decays. We find the to 2
branching ratio for to the decay to be 0.98, in
agreement with an experiment at IHEP-BES.Comment: 8 pages, 6 figure
Heavy Quark State Production In p-p Collisions
We estimate the relative probabilities of to production
at BNL-RHIC and production at the LHC and Fermilab in p-p
collisions, using our recent theory of mixed heavy quark hybrids, in which the
and mesons have approximately equal normal
and hybrid components.Comment: 15 pages, 10 figure
