Exploring the Critical Success Factors for Customer Relationship Management and Electronic Customer Relationship Management Systems

    Get PDF
Both customer relationship management (CRM) and electronic customer relationship management (eCRM) systems have unique characteristics that support customer-business interactions and are linked to internal business processes and systems across different areas for operational and analytical purposes. Such characteristics may imply that different critical success factors are required for both to be successfully implemented. This exploratory study identifies the factors and the interrelationships associated with the success of CRM and eCRM, compares the differences between CRM and eCRM, and discusses the reasons of the differences. Since there are only a few cases of CRM or eCRM systems fully implemented across marketing, technology, people, and business processes, an exploratory multiple-case study is conducted. The current status of CRM research and future research direction are discussed

Analysis of Change in the Wind Speed Ratio according to Apartment Layout and Solutions

Apartment complexes in various forms are built in downtown areas. The arrangement of an apartment complex has great influence on the wind flow inside it. There are issues of residentsā€™ walking due to gust occurrence within apartment complexes, problems with pollutant emission due to airflow congestion, and heat island and cool island phenomena in apartment complexes. Currently, the forms of internal arrangements of apartment complexes are divided into the flat type and the tower type. In the present study, a wind tunnel experiment and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation were performed with respect to internal wind flows in different apartment arrangement forms. Findings of the wind tunnel experiment showed that the internal form and arrangement of an apartment complex had significant influence on its internal airflow. The wind velocity of the buildings increased by 80% at maximum due to the proximity effects between the buildings. The CFD simulation for relaxing such wind flows indicated that the wind velocity reduced by 40% or more at maximum when the paths between the lateral sides of the buildings were extended

Correlation between thermal annealing temperature and Joule-heating based insulator-metal transition in VO2 nanobeams

    Get PDF
Rapid thermal annealing of VO2 nanobeams in an ambient argon environment has been carried out at various temperatures after device fabrication. Our analysis revealed that increasing the annealing temperature from 200??C to 400??C results in the reduction of both ohmic and nanobeam resistances with an appreciable decrease in joule-heating based transition voltage and transition temperature, while samples annealed at 500??C exhibited a conducting rutile-phase like characteristics at room temperature. In addition, these variation trends were explored using a physical model and the results were found to be in agreement with the observed results, thus verifying the model.open2
