    IMMUNOLOGICAL TOLERANCE IN ORGAN TRANSPLANTATION

    Get PDF
Modeling of  immune tolerance will  eliminate the  need  for  taking medications to prevent rejection. This  review of available literature covers the immune mechanisms of allograft rejection and the ways of tolerance induction. The role of mesenchymal stem  cells and using them for tolerance development have been discussed. The authors also draw attention to the fact  that  blood transfusion from an organ donor  leads to a decreased  intensity of the immune response to donor cells in transplantation

The article describes a lyophilized sterile allograft made of bone tissue, and its implementation as a medical device in the practice of reconstructive surgery.Possessing an osteoconductive effect, the graft helps to restore the structure of a damaged bone, and accelerates the regeneration of bone defects. According to the RF Government Regulation No. 1416 of 27.12.2012, the product has to pass the authorization procedure including the conduct of specific technical, toxicological, and clinical trials to be certified by Roszdravnadzor for clinical use

VVER Thermal Power Measured Using the Readings of Rhodium Self-powered Neutron Detector (SPND)

    No full text
A procedure for determining the linear heat generation rate in a fuel assembly of VVER reactor at the location of a rhodium self-powered neutron detector (SPND) and verification of this procedure are discussed. A method of measurements of the VVER thermal power based on SPND readings is described
