© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. In the paper, the mathematical model for evaluation the accuracy of the cut gear depending on the initial error of the technological system, is presented. The model is based on the coordinate transformation matrices, variations matrices and considers the deviations of the base and the real surfaces. The technique allows evaluating the possibilities of the technological system to achieve the specified accuracy

© 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd. This paper examines the impact of the geometric and kinematic errors of gear shaping machines for the accuracy of processed wheels. There is a problem to establish a correlation between the errors of the technological system with the gear accuracy parameters defined by standards. In this article, the equation of the machined surface is proposed based on the coordinate transformation matrices and equations of involute surface of the tool in the form of a matrix equation. On the basis of this equation the machine output precision is given in the form of matrix equation. The impact of errors of the technological system elements is displayed by a matrix of variations, components of which are the projection of errors on the axis. Output errors are applied on the machined surface via the projection on the line of action. Next, the obtained values are translated into a standardized deviation of the gear accuracy. This enables forecasting the possibility of obtaining the products of certain accuracy on this machine, as well as to control the specific parameters of the technological system to ensure the accuracy and stability of the process

Longitudinal vibrations of underground pipelines of finite length in medium surrounded by soil with different properties along pipeline length

    Get PDF
An analysis of the dynamic response of an underground main pipeline under a longitudinal wave propagating in soil along the pipe is given in the article. The problem of the longitudinal wave impact on a pipeline of finite length, interacting with soil according to the elastic-viscous law, is considered. The ends of the pipeline are fixed to massive nodes that interact with the medium according to linear laws. Along the length of the pipeline, the coefficients of the elastic and viscous pipeline-soil interaction change depending on the coordinate. In this article, the influence of the coefficients of elastic and viscous interaction of the "pipe-soil" system is studied when these coefficients are coordinate functions. The variability of the values of the coefficients along the length of the pipeline leads to a change in displacements from 0 to 15% and strain from 0 to 18%, compared with the case when these coefficients are constant. Depending on the length of the pipeline, the response of the pipeline to seismic action is different. This is especially evident at the boundary points. Considering the weight of nodes leads largely to a decrease in the strain of the pipeline relative to the soil strain at the boundary points

Proximity effect in the asymmetrical incommensurable ferromagnet/ superconductor/ferromagnet trilayer

    Get PDF
In this report the original theory of a proximity effect is proposed for the ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet (F1/S/F2) trilayer. The distinctions in ferromagnetic metals (F1 and F 2), in their thicknesses of (dF1 and dF2), in the transparencies of F1/S and S/F2 interfaces, and so on are reviewed among the causes of incommensurability of system. The quasiclassical approach of Usadel equations for dirty limit case is used to find critical temperature Tc. The peculiar Tc(dF1, dF2) interference pattern is predicted for the F1/S/F2 systems with disproportionate thicknesses dF1 and dF2. The possible applications to an observability of the spin-valve regime are discussed. © 2009 IOP Publishing Ltd

The original theory of a proximity effect is proposed for the bi- and tri-layered system ferromagnetic metal/superconductor (F/S) in dirty limit. The F1/S/F2 trilayer is examined more closely. The distinctions in materials, in thicknesses of F layers (df1 and df2), in parameters interfaces, and in local environments of layers are considered among the causes of incommensurability of trilayer. The peculiar Tc(df1, df2) interference pattern is predicted for the F1/S/F2 systems. The reentrant superconductivity and possibility of the better observability of the spin-valve regime are discussed. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved

Study of Deformations Field in the Working Zone of Vertical Milling Machine

    Get PDF
© 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd. The paper examines the questions of the static elastic deformation development during the machining with milling machines. It discusses the issues of "machine - tool - instrument - workpiece"system modelling aiming at providing the preliminary assessment of elastic deformations during the processing, which gives an opportunity to prevent defect appearance. The deformation distribution is detected for the cases when the cutting area is positioned in different points of working area of the machine. The changes of deformations for different cutting pattern are analysed, a method of determination of main axes rigidity is considered based on that. The results show that the deformation of the technological system depends not only on the geometry of the basic parts and junctions but also on their location. The modelling the whole technological system is required. Only in this case selecting the optimal tool and its location to achieve the required quality of processing is possible
