In this research, we focus on the migration of virtual machines in the cloud data center using the inheritance algorithm. The simulation results confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of this timing algorithm and lead to a significant reduction in total energy consumption compared to other strategies. And since our focus is on the operational energy of the centers and with reduction in operational energy, producing Carbon biodegradation has also declined, which plays a significant role in reducing user costs. Using biocompatible materials as substrate coating for electric field enhancement in tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy

In this article, tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) is investigated as a precise method for analysis of biological samples. Using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) simulation, it has been tried to design the required structures for analysis of these samples. At first, by comparing different TERS structures and considering the material, dimensions and other parameters in the simulation, the ideal structure is introduced from a physical point of view and considering the electric field enhancement. In the following, taking into possibility of the effect of environmental and chemical reactions during testing on biological samples, biocompatible materials are used as substrate coating in the simulation, and the effect of using these materials are investigated in comparison with the previous conditions. After performing the simulations, we concluded that Au, Cu and Ag have the highest electric field enhancement, respectively, and the presence of Au next to Cu, also Au and Cu next to Ag, leads to the enhancement of the electric field in them. In the following, we found that the material and thickness of the layer under the coating in the substrate and tip have a great effect on the enhancement. finally, using five biocompatible materials as a coating in the case of using the Au tip and substrate, which creates the most electric field enhancement, we saw that the use of biocompatible materials greatly reduces the enhancement and the use of these five materials does not differ much from each other. Anyway, the use of a 1 nm layer of biocompatible coating creates a much more favorable effect on enhancement than upper thicknesses

To create a proper course for E-learning, you need authoring tools to facilitate this work. E-learning authoring tools enable trainers to integrate an array of media to create professional interactive training content, and make possible repurposing learning objects from an existing course for reuse in a new one. Flash Learning Management System (FLMS) is a software platform for E-learning. This system is designed to create basic E-learning courses and support a variety of media and file types, such as text, graphics, video, and audio. Most include assessment and test creation features. In This paper, we examine an evaluation of FLMS developed with Investigation methods in the Dejcom Company in Iran. A questionnaire which consists of 25 questions divided in two sections was developed. The questionnaire uses Likert 5-point scale format for sections. The first section contains some questions about creating of content based on standard, while the next ones include interaction questions between user and system. The evaluation of the system is made during its trials in the Dejcom Company in Iran. 200 users are asked to fill in the questionnaire after using the system via the internet. Finally the analysis of results of the evaluation shows that the flash learning management system is quite based on standard and Interactive

The present study was aimed to investigate the relationship between learning styles and preferred teaching methods by high school students in the city of Isfahan. The study is a descriptive-correlational research. The statistical population of this study includes 86142 male and female students of high schools in the city of Isfahan in 2010-2011 academic years. A sample of 79 female students and 71 male ones has been selected from this population through multi-stages cluster sampling. In order to collect the research data and measure the research variables (learning styles and teaching methods), the standardized questionnaire of Reid(learning styles) and a self-administrated questionnaire of teaching methods have been employed. The results of this study revealed that there is significant multiple correlations between learning style and preferred teaching methods (r: 0.039). Based on the results of this study, it was revealed that there is not any significant relationship between individual learning style and students’ preferred teaching methods. Another part of the results showed that there is not any significant relationship between collective learning style and students’ preferred teaching methods. Finally, a significant relationship has been observed between project learning style and students’ preferred teaching methods

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between learning styles and progressive teaching methods among high schools students in the city of Isfahan. This study is a practical research from purpose view and is a descriptive-correlation one from research methodology perspective. The statistical population of this study includes all of the male and female students of high schools in the city of Isfahan in 2010-2011 academic year. This population consists of 86142 students. A sample of 150 students has been selected from this population through multi-stages cluster sampling. This sample consists of 79 female students and 71 male ones. In order to collect the research data, a standard questionnaire and a self-administrated questionnaire has been used. The first questionnaire that has been developed by Reid was used for examining learning styles among students and the second self-administrated one has been used for investigating the teaching methods. The reliability of the questionnaires has been examined through Cronbachs’ Alpha Coefficient. The coefficient was 0.68 and 0.94 for our questionnaire and confirms reliability of the questionnaires. Also the supervisor and other professors have been asked to review and modify the questionnaire and thereby its face validity has been examined and confirmed. The results of this study revealed that there is not any significant relationship between individual learning style and students’ preferred teaching methods. Also the results indicated that there is not any significant relationship between collective learning styles and students’ preferred teaching methods. Another part of the results showed that the relationship between project learning style and students’ preferred teaching methods is significant. Finally, the observed difference between students’ average of learning styles and their preferred teaching methods in terms of gender was significant. AbstractThis paper mainly focuses on investigating the effects of the availability of potential licensee as a measure of academic commercialization. Moreover, a qualitative research method is adopted based on the case study approach. In order to explore the issues of this study, ten face-to-face interviews were conducted. The respondents were chosen among inventors, researchers, academic entrepreneurs and Technology Transfer Office staffs in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The researcher used content-analysis approach to analyse the data obtained from the interviews. The results showed that the availability of potential licensee and awareness of the invention market potential facilitated the invention commercialization
