    CO2 fractional laser is now considered the gold standard for the treatment of vulvovaginal atrophy in postmenopausal women and in patients undergoing oncologic treatments but also for vulvovaginal rejuvenation. Laser is also a therapeutic option in multiple diseases including genital lichen sclerosus et atrophicus in males and females, vulvodynia, and genitourinary syndrome. CO2 fractional laser is a minimally invasive technique that regenerates the vulvovaginal mucosa and its functionality. Most of the patients are able to reduce the use of moisturizing and lenitive topical therapies after the treatments
