Growth factor in f(T) gravity
We derive the evolution equation of growth factor for the matter over-dense
perturbation in gravity. For instance, we investigate its behavior in
power law model at small redshift and compare it to the prediction of
CDM and dark energy with the same equation of state in the framework
of Einstein general relativity. We find that the perturbation in gravity
grows slower than that in Einstein general relativity if \p f/\p T>0 due to

The cosmological models based on teleparallel gravity with nonzero torsion
are considered. To investigate the evolution of this theory, we consider the
phase-space analysis of the theory. It shows when the tension scalar can
be written as an inverse function of where

phase analysis is given out. We perform the dynamical
analysis for the models and particularly. We find that the universe will
settle into de-Sitter phase for both models. And we have examined the evolution

The Effects of Synbiotic Supplementation on Carotid Intima-Media Thickness, Biomarkers of Inflammation, and Oxidative Stress in People with Overweight, Diabetes, and Coronary Heart Disease: a Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial
Synbiotics are known to exert multiple beneficial effects, including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant actions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of synbiotic supplementation on carotid intima-media thickness (CIMT), biomarkers of inflammation, and oxidative stress in people with overweight, diabetes, and coronary heart disease (CHD). This randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial was conducted and involved 60 people with overweight, diabetes, and CHD, aged 50�85 years old. Participants were randomly allocated into two groups to take either synbiotic supplements containing three probiotic bacteria spices Lactobacillus acidophilus strain T16 (IBRC-M10785), Lactobacillus casei strain T2 (IBRC-M10783), and Bifidobacterium bifidum strain T1 (IBRC-M10771) (2 � 10 9  CFU/g each) plus 800 mg inulin or placebo (n = 30 each group) for 12 weeks. Fasting blood samples were taken at baseline and after the 12-week intervention period to determine metabolic variables. After the 12-week intervention, compared with the placebo, synbiotic supplementation significantly reduced serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) (� 3101.7 ± 5109.1 vs. � 6.2 ± 3163.6 ng/mL, P = 0.02), plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) (� 0.6 ± 1.0 vs. � 0.1 ± 0.3 μmol/L, P = 0.01), and significantly increased nitric oxide (NO) levels (+ 7.8 ± 10.3 vs. � 3.6 ± 6.9 μmol/L, P < 0.001). We did not observe any significant changes of synbiotic supplementation on other biomarkers of oxidative stress and CIMT levels. Overall, synbiotic supplementation for 12 weeks among people with overweight, diabetes, and CHD had beneficial effects on serum hs-CRP, plasma NO, and MDA levels; however, it did not have any effect on other biomarkers of oxidative stress and CIMT levels. © 2017, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC
Molecular survey of aminoglycoside-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii isolated from tertiary hospitals in Qazvin, Iran
Aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes (AMEs) and 16S rRNA methylases (16S RMTase) are two main resistance mechanisms against
aminoglycosides. This study aimed to evaluate the frequency of AMEs and 16S rRNA methylase genes among aminoglycoside nonsusceptible Acinetobacter baumannii isolates and to assess their clonal relationship using repetitive extragenic palindromic-PCR (rep-PCR).
In this cross-sectional study, a total of 192 A. baumannii isolates were collected from the patients hospitalized in Qazvin, Iran (January
2016 to January 2018). Identification of isolates was performed by standard laboratory methods and API 20E strips. Antimicrobial
susceptibility was determined by Kirby–Bauer method followed by examination of the genes encoding the AMEs and 16S RMTase by
PCR and sequencing methods. The clonal relationship of isolates was carried out by rep-PCR. In total, 98.4% of isolates were nonsusceptible to aminoglycosides, 98.4%, 97.9% and 83.9% of isolates were found to be non-susceptible against gentamicin, tobramycin and
amikacin, respectively. The frequencies of aph(30
)-VI, aac(60
)-Ib, aac(3)-II, aph(30
)-Ia and armA genes were 59.3%, 39.2%, 39.2%, 31.7% and
69.8%, respectively, either alone or in combination. Rep-PCR results showed that the aminoglycoside non-susceptible isolates belonged to
three distinct clones: A (79.4%), B (17.5%) and C (3.2%). The findings of this study showed a high frequency for AMEs with the
emergence of armA genes among the aminoglycoside non-susceptible A. baumannii isolates. Rational administration of aminoglycosides as
well as using an appropriate infection control policy may reduce the presence of resistance to antibiotics in medical centres
Power-law entropy-corrected HDE and NADE in Brans-Dicke cosmology
Considering the power-law corrections to the black hole entropy, which appear
in dealing with the entanglement of quantum fields inside and outside the
horizon, the holographic energy density is modified accordingly. In this paper
we study the power-law entropy-corrected holographic dark energy in the
framework of Brans-Dicke theory. We investigate the cosmological implications
of this model in detail. We also perform the study for the new agegraphic dark
energy model and calculate some relevant cosmological parameters and their
evolution. {As a result we find that this model can provide the present cosmic
acceleration and even the equation of state parameter of this model can cross

Holographic dark energy in a non-flat universe with Granda-Oliveros cut-off
Motivated by Granda and Oliveros (GO) model, we generalize their work to the
non-flat case. We obtain the evolution of the dark energy density, the
deceleration and the equation of state parameters for the holographic dark
energy model in a non-flat universe with GO cut-off. In the limiting case of a

Cosmological evolution and statefinder diagnostic for new holographic dark energy model in non flat universe
In this paper, the holographic dark energy model with new infrared cut-off
proposed by Granda and Oliveros has been investigated in spatially non flat
universe. The dependency of the evolution of equation of state, deceleration
parameter and cosmological evolution of Hubble parameter on the parameters of
new HDE model are calculated. Also, the statefinder parameters and in
this model are derived and the evolutionary trajectories in plane are
plotted. We show that the evolutionary trajectories are dependent on the model
parameters of new HDE model. Eventually, in the light of SNe+BAO+OHD+CMB
observational data, we plot the evolutionary trajectories in and

Thermodynamics of phantom energy in the presence of a Reissner-Nordstrom black hole
In this paper, we study the validity of the generalized second law (GSL) in
phantom dominated universe in the presence of a Reissner-Nordstr\"{o}m (RN)
black hole. Our study is independent of the origin of the phantom like behavior
of the considered universe. We also discuss the GSL in the neighborhood of
transition from quintessence to phantom regime. We show that for a constant
equation of state parameter, the GSL may be satisfied provided that the
temperature is proportional to de Sitter temperature. It is shown that in
models with (only) a transition from quintessence to phantom regime the
generalized second law does not hold in the transition epoch. Next we show that
if the phantom energy has a chemical potential, then the GSL will hold if the

Near-threshold and meson productions in collisions
Using a relativistic effective Lagrangian at the hadronic level,
near-threshold and meson productions in proton proton ()
collisions, , are studied within the distorted wave
Born approximation. Both initial and final state interactions are
included. In addition to total cross section data, both and
angular distribution data are used to constrain further the model parameters.
For the reaction we consider two different possibilities:
with and without the inclusion of nucleon resonances. The nucleon resonances
are included in a way to be consistent with the
reaction. It is shown that the inclusion of nucleon resonances can describe the
data better overall than without their inclusion. However, the SATURNE data in
the range of excess energies MeV are still underestimated by about a
factor of two. As for the reaction it is found that the
presently limited available data from DISTO can be reproduced by four sets of
values for the vector and tensor coupling constants. Further
measurements of the energy dependence of the total cross section near threshold
