The results of experimental investigation of parametric radiation generated by 5.7 MeV electrons in a multilayer structure consisting of 100 Cr/Sc bi-layers deposited on a Si3N4 membrane are presented. The multilayer structure was specially created for generation of parametric radiation with photon energy in "water-window" spectral rang

Share value as a security is a money equivalent of its definite investment qualities and management possibilities which depends on concrete goals and methods of evaluation. Determination of the market value of enterprise shares may be realized by estimation which is carried out by an estimator who has the corresponding qualification certificate of the State Property Fund, or by carrying out forensic examination which is fulfilled by forensic experts having corresponding qualification certificates of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and entered in the Register of certified forensic experts. After abolition of an expert speciality 16.1 «Estimation of integral property complexes, equities, securities» by the order the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in June, 2016 the demand in expert researches on determination of the value of enterprises stocks has not disappeared, on the contrary, the quantity of appeals on performing such researches has increased. At the present time «The technique of comprehensive expert studies of determination of the enterprises shares value» in the co-authorship of experts-economists and experts on building and technical researches (to whom qualification of the forensic expert on speciality 16.1 was earlier conferred) is developed. This technique is registered in the Register of techniques on performing forensic examinations of the Ministry ofJustice of Ukraine. The complex of methodical approaches, methods and evaluation procedures serve as the methodical basis for stocks evaluation. All these demands from the expert of application during the research of considerable extent of special knowledge on the issue and circulation of such securities, as well as about the features of business accounting, taxation and the operations, realized with them. The particularity of researching of the operations with securities is the necessity of comprehensive consideration of the problems related with circulation that makes up the subject both forensic economic examination and forensic evaluative examination.Розглянуто питання оцінювання вартості акцій підприємств при проведенні судових експертиз після скасування експертної спеціальності 16.1 «Оцінка цілісних майнових комплексів, паїв, цінних паперів»

Effect of anomalous photoabsorption on parametric X-ray radiation from relativistic electrons

Parametric X-ray radiation from relativistic electrons moving in a crystal is theoretically investigated in Bragg geometry. It is shown that the effect of anomalous photoabsorption can manifest itself within this geometry of the scattering of the pseudophoton field of a fast particleye

The characteristics of quasi-monochromatic tunable X-ray sources based on multipasses of electrons through thin targets installed in cyclical accelerators are discussed. An internal bremsstrahlung radiator coupled with a multilayer X-mirror placed outside the accelerator vacuum chamber is used to produce tunable, narrow spectrayesBelgorod State Universit

Clinical Outcomes of Superior Capsular Reconstruction for Massive, Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears: A Systematic Review Comparing Acellular Dermal Allograft and Autograft Fascia Lata

    Get PDF
Purpose: To investigate clinical outcomes after superior capsular reconstruction (SCR) for the treatment of massive and/or irreparable rotator cuff tears treated with either allograft or autograft. Methods: Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, in April 2020 a systematic review was performed using PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane databases. Clinical studies were assessed for patient-reported outcomes and range of motion, comparing dermal allografts to fascia lata autografts, with a minimum follow-up of 12 months. Results: A total of 16 clinical studies involving 598 patients (606 shoulders) were included for data analysis, with a weighted mean follow-up of 36.9 months (range 12 to 60). Visual analogue scale (VAS) pain scores decreased from 4.0 to 6.9 mm preoperatively to 0 to 2.5 mm postoperatively. American Shoulder & Elbow Surgeons score increased from 20.3 to 54.5 preoperatively to 73.7 to 97.0 postoperatively. Forward flexion increased from 27.0° to 142.7° preoperatively to 134.5° to 167.0° postoperatively. External rotation increased from 13.2° to 41.0° preoperatively to 30.0° to 59.0° postoperatively. Acromiohumeral distance increased from 3.4 to 7.1 mm preoperatively to 6.0 to 9.7 mm postoperatively. The total rates of complications, graft failure, and revision surgery were 5.6%, 13.9%, and 6.9%, respectively. Conclusions: Irrespective of tissue source, SCR serves as a reasonable joint-preserving option for massive, irreparable rotator cuff tears, with favorable short- to midterm improvements in patient-reported outcomes and range of motion. Level of Evidence: IV, systematic review of level III and IV studies

One-dimensional Model of a Gamma Klystron

A new scheme for amplification of coherent gamma rays is proposed. The key elements are crystalline undulators - single crystals with periodically bent crystallographic planes exposed to a high energy beam of charged particles undergoing channeling inside the crystals. The scheme consists of two such crystals separated by a vacuum gap. The beam passes the crystals successively. The particles perform undulator motion inside the crystals following the periodic shape of the crystallographic planes. Gamma rays passing the crystals parallel to the beam get amplified due to interaction with the particles inside the crystals. The term `gamma klystron' is proposed for the scheme because its operational principles are similar to those of the optical klystron. A more simple one-crystal scheme is considered as well for the sake of comparison. It is shown that the gamma ray amplification in the klystron scheme can be reached at considerably lower particle densities than in the one-crystal scheme, provided that the gap between the crystals is sufficiently large.Comment: RevTeX4, 22 pages, 4 figure

Crystal Undulator As A Novel Compact Source Of Radiation

A crystalline undulator (CU) with periodically deformed crystallographic planes is capable of deflecting charged particles with the same strength as an equivalent magnetic field of 1000 T and could provide quite a short period L in the sub-millimeter range. We present an idea for creation of a CU and report its first realization. One face of a silicon crystal was given periodic micro-scratches (grooves), with a period of 1 mm, by means of a diamond blade. The X-ray tests of the crystal deformation have shown that a sinusoidal-like shape of crystalline planes goes through the bulk of the crystal. This opens up the possibility for experiments with high-energy particles channeled in CU, a novel compact source of radiation. The first experiment on photon emission in CU has been started at LNF with 800 MeV positrons aiming to produce 50 keV undulator photons.Comment: Presented at PAC 2003 (Portland, May 12-16
