    Nezapaženi ulomci "Muke Isuhrstove" (1514.) iz petrogradske Berciceve zbirke

    Za svojega kratkoga boravka u Petrogradu 1912. I. Milcetic; opisao je bogatu Bercicevu zbirku glagoljickih rukopisa i tiskanih knjiga iz Ruske nacionalne knjižnice, ali nije stigao podrobno prouciti svaki sastavni dio Berciceve grade. U Milceticevu opisu kodeksa br. 1 (Klimantovicev zbornik, 1514.) spominje se prolog Muke, ali se ne upozorava da se u nastavku toga prologa nalazi ulomak iz srednjovjekovnoga prikazanja sa scenom Judine izdaje Isusa. Ta je scena u srednjem vijeku ponajviÅ”e uznemiravala puk jer se tada od svega najviÅ”e mrzila laž, izdaja i prijetvornost. U radu se opisuju i prvi put objavljuju ulomci nepoznate redakcije Muke Isuhrstove iz petrogradske Berciceve zbirke (sign. Bc 1), koji predstavljaju za sada najstariji zapisani prolog i scenu hrvatskoga srednjovjekovnoga prikazanja pasionske tematike. Stihovi ulomaka usporeduju se s mladom ciklickom Mukom Spasitelja naÅ”ega iz glagoljickoga Zbornika prikazanja (1556.), s kojom se u korpusu hrvatskoga srednjovjekovnoga pjesniÅ”tva ti ulomci najviÅ”e podudaraju.Although I. Milcetic in his description of the first code of Bercicā€™s Petrograd miscellany of Glagolitic texts mentions the prologue to The Passion of Christ, he does not notice a fragment from a medieval play containing the scene where Judas betrays Christ later in the text. That scene was particularly disturbing for the medieval folk because lies, betrayal, and insincerity were often most frowned upon. This paper contains fragments of the unknown edition of The Passion of Christ from Bercicā€™s Petrograd miscellany (The First Codex), which is published and analyzed here for the first time. They represent the oldest written prologue and scene so far from a Croatian medieval play with Christā€™s Passion as the subject matter. The verses of the fragments are compared with the later cyclic The Passion of Our Saviour (1556), which, within the corpus of Croatian medieval poetry, is the closest match to these fragments

    U članku se raspravlja o starosti triju ā€œnenarodnihā€ tvorbenih uzoraka imeničkih složenica u hrvatskom jeziku.In der bisherigen Fachliteratur konnte man lesen, dass drei Wortbildungsmodelle der substantivischen Komposita erst im 19. Jahrhundert im Kroatischen unter dem Einfluss deutscher Wortbildung entstanden sind. So wĆ¼rden diese drei Modelle eine neuere Innovation in kroatischer Wortbildung darstellen. In diesem Artikel ist gezeigt, dass es die endozentrischen Komposita von diesen drei Wortbildungsmodellen bevor Illyrismus im Kroatischen gab (bei Kavanjins ā€žBogatstvo i uboÅ”tvoā€œ und in der lexikographischen Tradition von Vrančić bis Stulli)

    U radu se navode, klasificiraju i analiziraju toponimi iz poznatih hrvatskih prijevoda Lucidara. U onomastičko-tekstoloÅ”koj raŔčlambi najviÅ”e je pozornosti posvećeno identifikaciji ā€œtamnihā€ toponima, uočavanju veza s predloÅ”cima i razlikama među različitim izvorima. Zapisi toponima u hrvatskim izvorima toga srednjovjekovnoga teksta uspoređuju se sa zapisima u dvjema čeÅ”kim inačicama (koje je objavio Č. ZĆ­brt) te sa stanjem u novijem kritičkom izdanju njemačkoga Lucidarija (Gottschallā€“Steer).The paper indicates, classifies and analyzes toponyms from famous Croatian translations of Lucidarius. Illuminating prose like Lucidarius is not only a product of the medieval world picture, but also the means used to mediate that picture to the medieval man. He could access the landscapes described in Lucidarius solely by means of imagination. The onomastic and textological analysis has mostly been devoted to the identification of ā€œdarkā€ toponyms, the recognition of their relatedness to the originals and the differences between different sources. Toponym records in Croatian sources of this medieval prose are compared to records in two Czech variants (published by Č. ZĆ­brt), and to the state in a recent critical edition of the German Lucidarius (Gottschallā€“Steer). The considered corpus is especially valuable if the afore-mentioned toponyms are compared to the corpus in the Academyā€™s Dictionary, where most of the latter toponyms were not attested or their attestation borderlines are expanded by Lucidarius

    The Lexis of Marulićā€™s Suzana

    To date rather few scholarly papers have been written about Marulićā€™s Suzana, but interest in this epyllion has not ceased since the time of the Illyrian movement. Previous investigators and textual editors have been mostly interested, as far as the language is concerned, in the localisms, the Romanic loan words, Marulićā€™s lexical choice with respect to the Latin text from the Scriptures, and the hermeneutic and textual problems. In this paper the lexis of Marulićā€™s Suzanais first of all analysed in relation to the loan words and the synonymic relations in the text. Then the linguistic and stylistic layers are analysed on the basis of a comparison of the lexis of Suzana with that of Judita, with Vetranovićā€™s dramatic Suzana, with the medieval legal texts (Vinodol Codex and the Poljica Statute) as well as the lectionaries (Zadar). Several textological observations are put forward with respect to previous editions (a ļ¬‚readingĀ« and interpretation of some words). At the end, the concept of the lie, a key word in Marulićā€™s Suzana, is examined from the aspect of cognitive semantics, by way of comparison with the treatment of the same concept in the medieval Flower of All Wisdom

    Do sada se Mrnavićev književni jezik u stručnoj literaturi kontroverzno definiraokao "liepa bosanska ikavska Å”tokavÅ”tina" s nekim čakavizmima (A. Pavić) i kao čakavÅ”tina s nekim Å”tokavizmima (M. Franičević), a tvrdilo se također da je pisao "čistim narodnim jezikom svojega kraja" (J. Ravlić). U članku se prvi put opisuju i problematiziraju izabrane važnije jezične značajke OsmanŔćice, prema kojima bi se mogla utvrditi jezična podloga Mrnavićeva književnoga jezika.This article provides a detailed language analysis of Mrnavić\u27s OsmanŔćica, because the language of his Croatian literary work has not yet been thoroughly researched. Considerable attention has been paid to Čakavian and Å tokavian phonological and morphological characteristics exclusively, which may lead to the conclusion about the dialectal base of his language

    Autor raspravlja o značajkama riječi koje leksikolozi i leksikografi obično nazivaju historizmima. Analiziraju se semantičke promjene vezane uz nastanak i ā€œpovratakā€ historizama te utjecaj izvanjezične zbilje na te procese. Na kraju se razmatra mogućnost sinonimije i ekstenzija značenja historizma metaforičkom uporabom.The author discusses characteristics of words to which lexicologists and lexicographers usually refer as historisms. Semantic changes related to the original appearance and reappearance of historisms are analysed as well as the influence of extralinguistic reality to this processes. In the end the author considers the possibility of synonymy and extension of historismā€™s meaning through methaphoric use

    Danas se brže i lakÅ”e nego nekoć obavljaju uz pomoć računala filoloÅ”ka istraživanja, ali se filolog i dalje mora baviti temeljnim poslovima bez kojih nema iskoraka u filologiji: čitanjem, tumačenjem i objavljivanjem vrela. U radu se problematizira zapostavljenost primarnih zadataka u hrvatskoj filologiji i danaÅ”nje zaostajanje kroatistike u digitalnom dobu kada je riječ o priređivanju kritičkih izdanja i povijesnih jezičnih korpusa, bez kojih nema suvremenih znanstvenih jezikoslovnih istraživanja. Osim toga, rad problematizira okoÅ”tale stavove o početcima hrvatske jezične kulture.Today, philological research is carried out more quickly and easily than before, however the philologist still must deal with basic tasks without which there can be no progress in philology: reading, interpreting, and publishing sources. This paper discusses the neglect of these primary tasks in Croatian philology and the backwardness of Croatian language studies in todayā€™s digital age regarding the editing of the critical editions and historical linguistic corpora without which there can be no modern scientific linguistic research. In addition, the paper discusses some ossified opinions on the beginnings of Croatian linguistic culture

    U radu se analiziraju najvažnije paleografske, grafijske i jezične značajke glagoljskoga ulomka I/27 iz Berčićeve petrogradske zbirke. Ulomak (1 list), pisan hrvatskim jezikom, bio je dio zasad nepoznatoga srednjovjekovnoga kodeksa iz 15. stoljeća. On sadrži veoma zanimljivu raspravu Pilata i Židova, Pilatov sud o nedokazanoj Isusovoj krivnji i opis njegova ponižavanja.U članku se donosi prvo čitanje toga fragmenta (latiničkom transliteracijom i transkripcijom).The paper analyses the most important paleographic, orthographic and linguistic characteristics of a glagolitic fragment I/27 from Berčićā€™s collection in Sankt Petersburg. The author publishes the first reading of that text (transcription and transliteration). That fragment (1 sheet), written in Croatian language, was a part of an unknown medieval codex from the 15th century. It contains a very interesting discussion between Pilate and the Jews, Pilateā€™s opinion about non-guilt of Jesus Christ and his humiliation by the Jews

    U ovom članku analiziraju se naracija i jezična uporaba kajkavÅ”tine u filmu Seljačka buna 1573. Vatroslava Mimice. Film tematizira ustanak seljaka protiv feudalaca u sjeverozapadnoj Hrvatskoj i Sloveniji u 16. stoljeću. Redatelj/scenarist Mimica unosi u povijesni film modernističke elemente. O njegovim rjeÅ”enjima i uopće o narativnom oblikovanju priče izgrađene na temelju povijesnih vrela, ali s dodatkom fikcijskih elemenata (Petrekov život), u ovom radu govori se na temelju analize dviju verzija scenarija (1972. i ā€œknjige snimanjaā€ iz 1974) i njihove usporedbe s realizacijom u filmu i TV-seriji. S obzirom na to da Mimičini likovi govore kajkavÅ”tinom, u radu se dosta govori o jezičnom oblikovanju replika likova, o autentičnosti i anakronosti jezične uporabe
