Islamic Insurtech Conceptual Framework: A Proposal
Introduction: Insurtech refers to the use of technology innovations designed to squeeze cost and maximize efficiency from the current insurance industry model. Insurtech is a combination of the word’s “insurance” and “technology,” inspired by the term fintech i.e. financial technology. Whilst insurance company already move forward, Islamic Insurtech seems not a popular terminology. It may not have unique characteristic from stakeholder’s perspective and therefore it may only be embedded in insurtech definition.
Purpose: This paper aims to explore the potential of having Islamic insurtech in the global market and analyze the opportunity to establish a conceptual framework for Islamic Insurtech.
Methodology: This study uses qualitative approach based on in-depth analyzing on literature, report and website propose subject of the study.
Findings: It is hoped that it will benefit the Islamic insurance or Takaful players to remain relevant in the global market.

Takaful Scheme for Mental Health Disorders: A Systematic Literature Review
Wealth management involved cycles which are wealth creation, wealth protection, wealth distribution, wealth purification, and wealth accumulation that must in line with the financial objectives of the individual through their life. The current study is focused on the wealth protection element which a takaful scheme for mental health disorders. However, little was known about it. Thus, the objective of this systematic review was to synthesize findings of trend and population-based studies on takaful scheme for mental health disorders. The aim was to presents an extensive systematic review of takaful schemes for mental health disorders. A systematic review was identified using electronic database searches (Google, PubMed, and Scopus), previous reviews and reference lists to identify articles published between 2010 and 2020. Narrative synthesis and systematic review were performed and reported according to the preferred reporting items statement. The current evidence showed there is less study on takaful schemes for mental health disorders in the period 2010 to 2020. The two main contributions of this paper are its use of a readily-available and powerful new instrument, and its use of extremely large data which gives us the power to takaful scheme for mental health disorders for disaggregated health care services. More good quality of systematic literature with comparable assessment tools is needed
Review: Challenges and opportunities of implementing mass productivity scale (MPS) at date farms in Malaysia
The study aimed to review the challenges and opportunities of mass productivity scale (MPS) for the dates (Phoenix dactylifera L.) farm in Malaysia. The review on site and document was done to drill the issues faced by dates palm farmers. The common issues affecting dates farm in Malaysia were pest attack, import permit, lack of expertise, and climate and soil requirements. In a united response, the government should form the National Dates Palm Centre (NDPC) which will explore opportunities to address issues faced by the dates palm sector in Malaysia
The Potential of Pumpkin (Cucurbita Moschata Duschene) as Commercial Crop in Malaysia
Awareness of recommendations for fruit and vegetable consumption has increased substantially over the last 20 years. In addition, fruits and vegetables such as pumpkin are good sources of many important nutrients, including potassium, vitamin C, folate, fiber, and numerous phytochemicals. Malaysia produces pumpkin of its own, with considerably large areas of production comparable to its high global demand. However, in reality, there is a limitation in the commercial production as the local pumpkin is very much dependent on the market demand as the utilization has been limited to the consumption of fresh product. Thus, the objective of the study first initiative to provide the information about the pumpkin and second to investigates the opportunities on commercialized local pumpkin in Malaysia as by products despite various nutritious it is also listed as prophetic foods. The scientific research that covered a broad range of in vitro to in vivo studies on the by-products potentials of these fruits is also discussed in detail. The current review is an update for researchers to have a better understanding of the pumpkin, which simultaneously can provide awareness to enhance their commercial value and promote their utilization as a prophetic food especially to the Muslim consumer
An analysis of regulation and governance for funeral social fund in Malaysia
The funeral expense is becoming expensive. It will lead to funeral poverty whereby the next of kin of the deceased face difficulty paying funeral expenses. Increasing numbers of people seek financial management advice following bereavement, which can have a long-term effect on the grief experience and an individual's ability to manage. More should be done to encourage people on low incomes to prepare for death through simple advice and guidance. In Malaysia, a funeral social fund such as the Khairat death fund, in general, is financial assistance that is a grant to the family of the deceased for covering the cost and expenses of funeral processes. Khairat death fund was managed by community members or organizations in the areas. However, all this Khairat death organization moving with their own way as there is no legal jurisprudence as guidance to regulate and to be more systematic and synchronize management. Hence, this study will review regulation and governance for the funeral social fund in Malaysia
