Corporate Decision Making with Self-Organizing Patent Maps Labeled by Technical Terms and AHP
In this paper, we propose an approach for corporate decision making with self-organizing patent maps labeled by technical terms and AHP. First, we select the patent area of interest and collect pertinent patent documents in text format. Second, we extract keywords by text mining to transform patent documents into feature vectors of the companies. Third, we input the feature matrix of technical terms and company names into self-organizing maps to create patent maps labeled by the technical terms. Then, we consider several corporate strategies utilizing the patent maps and make a decision with AHP. We apply our approach to two patent areas (information home appliance and 3D image) to show examples of corporate decision making
Spectral Evolution of the Unusual Slow Nova V5558 Sgr
We report on the spectral evolution of the enigmatic, very slow nova V5558
Sgr, based on the low-resolution spectra obtained at the Fujii-Bisei
Observatory and the Bisei Astronomical Observatory, Japan during a period of
2007 April 6 to 2008 May 3. V5558 Sgr shows a pre-maximum halt and then several
flare-like rebrightenings, which is similar to another very slow nova V723 Cas.
In our observations, the spectral type of V5558 Sgr evolved from the He/N type
toward the Fe II type during the pre-maximum halt, and then toward the He/N
type again. This course of spectral transition was observed for the first time
in the long history of the nova research. In the rebrightening stage after the
initial brightness maximum, we could identify many emission lines accompanied
by a stronger absorption component of the P-Cygni profile at the brightness
maxima. We found that the velocity of the P-Cygni absorption component measured
from the emission peak decreased at the brightness maxima. Furthermore, we
compared the spectra of V5558 Sgr with V723 Cas, and other novae which
exhibited several rebrightenings during the early phase.Comment: 8 pages, 7figures, accepted for publication in PAS
Twisted N=2 exact SUSY on the lattice for BF and Wess-Zumino
We formulate exact supersymmetric models on a lattice. We introduce
noncommutativity to ensure the Leibniz rule. With the help of superspace
formalism, we give supertransformations which keep the N=2 twisted SUSY algebra
exactly. The action is given as a product of (anti)chiral superfields on the
lattice. We present BF and Wess-Zumino models as explicit examples of our
formulation. Both models have exact N=2 twisted SUSY in 2 dimensional space at
a finite lattice spacing. In component fields, the action has supercharge exact
form.Comment: 3 pages, 2 figures, talk presented by I. Kanamori at
