    Influence of waxes remelting used in investment casting on their thermal properties and linear shrinkage

    This paper presents the results of thermal properties and linear shrinkage of jewelry waxes utilized in investment casting. Three types of jewelry waxes were cyclically processed (by heating, holding in a molten state and cooling)in the temperature range between 25 and 90 掳C for about 7 hours. The samples were tested after 5th, 10th and 15thcycle. The remelting was designed to simulate the process of waxes reusability for production of patterns. Changes in thermal properties of waxes were determined using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and linear shrinkage values were specified. The conducted examinations allowed to establish the way of multiple utilization of waxes in producing precise models

The proprieties of these ashes depend on the different quantity and the kind of the co-combustion of biomass in relation to coal as well as on the way of its preparation and the burning in dust boilers. Influence of these ashes on technological process, the macro and the microstructure as well as the usable proprieties of autoclaved aerated concrete are also indicated

Taka opinia jest spowodowana brakiem wiedzy na ten temat, plotkami, a czasami skutkiem 艣wiadomej manipulacji. Dla w艂a艣ciwego przedstawienia promieniotw贸rczo艣ci materia艂贸w i wyrob贸w budowlanych, w tym wyrob贸w z betonu kom贸rkowego, przybli偶my skr贸towo zagadnienie promieniotw贸rczo艣ci i przeanalizujmy je opieraj膮c si臋 na wiarygodnych wynikach bada艅 upowa偶nionych jednostek badawczych.Aerated concrete has been alleged to be highly radioactive. However, these claims can be attributed to ignorance, unconfirmed rumours, or even intentional manipulation. This paper addresses the question of radioactivity of building materials and construction products, including aerated concrete products, based on reliable outcomes of studies conducted by accredited research centres. The radioactivity of buildings made of aerated concrete has been examined in in-situ studies, under the review of structural solutions made of building materials, and in consideration of the requirements and assessment criteria for radioactivity hazard of construction products and buildings

Zaprezentowano mo偶liwo艣ci utylizacji popio艂贸w fluidalnych w produkcji autoklawizowanego betonu kom贸rkowego (ABK), na podstawie pr贸b technologicznych w skali laboratoryjnej i p贸艂technicznej oraz uzyskane w艂a艣ciwo艣ci ABK.In report will be introduced the physicochemical properties of ashes and the phase composition. The time variations of properties of ashes will be presented. Possibility of the utilization of these ashes in production of MC has been presented, on the basis of technological research in the laboratory and half-technical scale.
