Suatu pembangunan/pengembangan tata guna lahan atau infrastruktur akan membangkitkan atau menarik pergerakan menuju tata guna lahan tersebut. Pembangunan dan pengembangan suatu Kawasan (pusat kegiatan) dimanapun pasti mempunyai pengaruh terhadap lalu lintas di sekitarnya. Analisis Dampak Lalu Lintas (andalalin) dipergunakan untuk memprediksi apakah infrastruktur transportasi dalam daerah pembangunan tersebut dapat melayani lalu lintas (eksisting) ditambah dengan lalu lintas yang dibangkitkan atau ditarik oleh pembangunan tersebut. Kawasan Perkantoran Gedung Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat yang terletak di Jalan Pattimura No. 20, Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru, Kotamadya Jakarta Selatan, selama ini telah menimbulkan bangkitan dan tarikan yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja jalan yang terdapat di sekitar lokasi tersebut. Oleh karena itu untuk menghitung besaran dampak terhadap jalan yang ada perlu dilakukan Analisis Dampak Lalu Lintas, sehingga jika diperkirakan timbul dampak lalu lintas maka dampak tersebut diharapkan dapat diminimalkan dengan memberikan solusi yang tepat

Unsupervised Features Learning for Sampled Vector Fields

In this paper we introduce a new approach to computing hidden features of sampled vector fields. The basic idea is to convert the vector field data to a graph structure and use tools designed for automatic, unsupervised analysis of graphs. Using a few data sets we show that the collected features of the vector fields are correlated with the dynamics known for analytic models which generates the data. In particular the method may be useful in analysis of data sets where the analytic model is poorly understood or not known

Convergence of European financial system: Single financial space?

This paper tests the extent to which convergence has been occurring between EU member states in the sources of funding for investment by non-financial corporations. The evidence from time series on 9 EU member countries during 1971-1996 suggests that bank lending (credit) remains the most important source of external financing, although internal financing is increasing in importance. There is also evidence of convergence amongst the financial systems of the 9 EU member countries, for which data were readily available, and a shift from bank financing to direct financing in response to the financial liberalisation in the 1980's (securitisation). These findings suggest an evolving single financial space in Europe.

On Rings of Invariants for Cyclic p-Groups

This thesis studies the ring of invariants R^G of a cyclic p-group G acting on k[x_1,\ldots, x_n] where k is a field of characteristic p \u3e0. We consider when R^G is Cohen-Macaulay and give an explicit computation of the depth of R^G. Using representation theory and a result of Nakajima, we demonstrate that R^G is a unique factorization domain and consequently quasi-Gorenstein. We answer the question of when R^G is F-rational and when R^G is F-regular. We also study the a-invariant for a graded ring S, that is, the maximal graded degree of the top local cohomology module of S. We give an upper bound for the a-invariant of R^G and we show for any subgroup H\leq G, we can bound the a-invariant of R^G by the a-invariant of R^H. We extend this result to more general modular rings of invariants where R^{G\u27} is quasi-Gorenstein and G\u27 has a normal, cyclic, p-Sylow subgroup. Given a subgroup H \leq G we consider the natural action of H on R and the associated ring of invariants R^H. When G acts in a particular way, we determine the representation underlying the action of H on R. Building on work of Watanabe and Yoshida, we estimate the Hilbert-Kunz multiplicity of R^G in a way that does not depend on finding explicit generators for R^G. %, that is, we give an upper bound for the asymptotic growth rate of the colength of Frobenius powers of the homogeneous maximal ideal. We extend this result to modular rings of invariants for groups G\u27 which have a normal, cyclic, p-Sylow subgroup. Finally, we also consider computations of the norm of x_4 for a cyclic modular action on k[x_1, \ldots, x_n]. This builds on and extends work of Sezer and Shank

The letter of dedication constitutes an important element of the editorial framework of the old printed book. It was a tool meant to serve its author or publisher to achieve specific goals relevant to them. It was also frequently found in the publications of the Lublin Jesuit Printing House. Content analysis of this type of texts provides us knowledge about the circle of authors and addressees, the relationships between them, the environments from which they come, as well as the reasons for their writing activity. The biographical data included in them is a valuable source allowing for gaining a fuller understanding of the profiles of more or less recognized figures coming from different environments of the former Commonwealth of Poland.List dedykacyjny stanowi istotny element ramy wydawniczej dawnej książki drukowanej. Jane Austen\u27s Liminal Heroines: Rituals of Personal and Social Growth

Jane Austen’s six novels all follow a liminal heroine through her journey of personal growth, ultimately concluding with the success of the heroine and her society. In my project I examine how this liminal plot structure works, combining anthropological theories of liminality (most prominently those of Arnold van Gennep and Victor Turner) with the narrative structure of Austen’s novels. The growth of the heroine through the phases of liminality and eventual reintegration into society is marked by several challenges to the morality of the heroine. Yet, these challenges are, in fact, tests for the society just as much as they are trials for the individual. In accomplishing her own individual growth the Austen heroine pushes her society towards morality so that by the conclusion of the novel not only are the characters worthy of their roles, but society has grown to become worthy of the heroine as well. It is not just important that both segments grow, but crucial to the eventual reintegration of the liminal heroine. The different forms that this mirrored growth takes in Austen’s novels suggests the importance of the liminal journey as a narrative device but also as a means of correcting a flawed community
