Analysis of Recommended Weight Limit to Mitigate the Lower Back Pain in Manual Material Handling Task

    Get PDF
In this paper Authors have tried to calculate the revised Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) on the basis of revised Load constant (LC), Horizontal Multiplier (HM), Vertical Multiplier (VM) which are calculated according to the collected data from industry. While their average value had been considered in National institute for occupational safety &health (NIOSH) lifting equation. Thought behind this was that person’s age, obesity and height can not be taken constant Authors have applied the new approaches for setting limits of LC, HM, VM for optimizing the value of RWL of workers who work in industry. The approach may probably lead to calculate the safe weight for lifting and lowering in manual material handling task. It is expected that such an approach may be more protective for workers in manual material handling

Secure E-mailing System Using Pair Based Scheme and AES with Session Password

In early days Textual passwords are used for security of session but these passwords are vulnerable to the various attacks like Dictionary attack, Shoulder surfing, eves dropping, etc. Further graphical passwords and bio-metric passwords are invented. These two techniques are good performer but they have their own disadvantages. Such as requires extra time for login and more cost respectively. Thus we proposed a session password scheme in which the passwords are used only once for each and when session is terminated the password is no longer in use. The proposed of session password scheme uses Pair Based Authentication scheme for generating session password. In every Data communication system security to data is primary aim. Data security can be provided by many ways. This Paper gives a design of effective security for data communication in network by AES algorithm for encryption and decryption

All over the world, Plants have found to be a valuable source of herbs and spices for a long period of time to maintain the human health. Varieties of herbs and spices have been used to impart an aroma and taste to food for last few centuries. Several applications of plants species have been reported as antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antihypertensive and antimicrobial activities. Currently efforts are focused on their scientific merits, to provide science-based evidence for their traditional uses and to develop either functional foods or nutraceutical behavior. India is well recognized all over the world for their variety of herbs, spices and medicinal biodiversity. The WHO has listed more than 21000 plants, which are used for their medicinal purposes either in the form of essential oil or in the form of flavor. Among these, more than 2500 species and herbs are found in India, however; among them more than 150 species are used commercially on large scale. In India, the use of spices and herbs in the form of essential oil or in the form of flavor are traditionally used in routine treatment. For example, Curcumin which is found in turmeric are frequently used in medical facilities to wound healing, rheumatic disorders, and gastrointestinal symptoms etc

Variations in impacted mandibular permanent molars: Report of three rare cases

    No full text
The impaction of permanent teeth is not uncommon, but few permanent teeth are rarely impacted like mandibular first and second molars. Though third molars are commonly impacted, inversely impacted mandibular third molars are very rare. Here, we report three unusual cases of impacted mandibular molars accidentally diagnosed on conventional radiographs

    Radiotherapy: An Update

    No full text
Radiotherapy is the art of using ionizing radiation to destroy malignant cells while minimizing damage to normal tissue. Radiotherapy has become a standard treatment option for a wide range of malignancies. Several new imaging techniques, both anatomical and functional are currently being evaluated as well as practiced for treatment planning of cancer. These recent developments have allowed radiation oncologists to escalate the dose of radiation delivered to tumors while minimizing the dose delivered to surrounding normal tissue. In this update, we attempt to pen down important aspects of radiotherapy

This two-volume book contains research work presented at the First International Conference on Data Engineering and Communication Technology (ICDECT) held during March 10–11, 2016 at Lavasa, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The book discusses recent research technologies and applications in the field of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The aim of the Proceedings is to provide cutting-edge developments taking place in the field data engineering and communication technologies which will assist the researchers and practitioners from both academia as well as industry to advance their field of study

Optical spectroscopy of comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) from MIRO

    No full text
Spectra of comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) were taken with a low resolution spectrograph mounted on the 0.5 m telescope at the Mount Abu Infrared Observatory (MIRO), India during January to May 2015 covering the perihelion and post-perihelion periods. The spectra showed strong molecular emission bands (C2, C3 and CN) in January, close to perihelion. We have obtained the scale lengths for these molecules by fitting the Haser model to the observed column densities. The variation of gas production rates and production rate ratios with heliocentric distance were studied. The extent of the dust continuum using the Af-rho parameter and its variation with the heliocentric distance were also investigated. The comet is seen to become more active in the post-perihelion phase, thereby showing an asymmetric behaviour about the perihelion.by Kumar Venkataramani, Satyesh Ghetiya, Shashikiran Ganesh, U.C.Joshi, Vikrant K.
