TOUR: Dynamic Topic and Sentiment Analysis of User Reviews for Assisting App Release
App reviews deliver user opinions and emerging issues (e.g., new bugs) about
the app releases. Due to the dynamic nature of app reviews, topics and
sentiment of the reviews would change along with app release versions. Although
several studies have focused on summarizing user opinions by analyzing user
sentiment towards app features, no practical tool is released. The large
quantity of reviews and noise words also necessitates an automated tool for
monitoring user reviews. In this paper, we introduce TOUR for dynamic TOpic and
sentiment analysis of User Reviews. TOUR is able to (i) detect and summarize
emerging app issues over app versions, (ii) identify user sentiment towards app
features, and (iii) prioritize important user reviews for facilitating
developers' examination. The core techniques of TOUR include the online topic
modeling approach and sentiment prediction strategy. TOUR provides entries for
developers to customize the hyper-parameters and the results are presented in
an interactive way. We evaluate TOUR by conducting a developer survey that
involves 15 developers, and all of them confirm the practical usefulness of the
recommended feature changes by TOUR

Exendin-4 Increases Scavenger Receptor Class BI Expression via Activation of AMPK/FoxO1 in Human Vascular Endothelial Cells
Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA) has been clinically proven to protect endothelial function. Previously, we demonstrated that endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) was activated by high-density lipoprotein (HDL) via its scavenger receptor of the B class/human homologue of SR-BI, CD36 and LIMPII analogous-1(hSR-BI/CLA-1). Here, we investigated the effect of GLP-1RA and exendin-4 on the expression of hSR-BI/CLA-1 in HUVECs. Our results confirmed that GLP-1R was expressed in HUVECs by PCR and exendin-4 significantly enhanced HDL-induced eNOS activation. Next, exendin-4 increased the expression of hSR-BI/CLA-1 and a blockade of GLP-1R cancelled this effect. Further, the hSR-BI/CLA-1 transcriptional activity was enhanced by exendin-4, which was diminished by the inhibition of AMPK or dominant-negative AMPK-α-subunit. Moreover, AMPK was phosphorylated by the activation of GLP-1R. Next, ChIP assay demonstrated that exendin-4 increased the FoxO1-binding in the hSR-BI/CLA-1 promoter by upregulation of FoxO1. Mutation of FoxO1-binding or silencing of FoxO1 cancelled the effect of exendin-4 on hSR-BI/CLA-1 expression. Exendin-4 reduced FoxO1 phosphorylation and induced its nuclear accumulation, while this effect was altered by the blocking of GLP-1R or inhibition of AMPK pathway. In summary, our results proved that exendin-4 increased hSR-BI/CLA-1 expression via the AMPK/FoxO1 pathway to activate eNOS, providing a basic mechanism underlining the protective effect of GLP-1RA on endothelial function
Combination therapy of ipilimumab and nivolumab induced thyroid storm in a patient with Hashimoto’s disease and diabetes mellitus: a case report
Abstract Background Recently, immune checkpoint inhibitors have widely been used for the management of advanced melanoma. However, high-grade immune-related adverse events can occur, particularly with combination immunotherapy. We report a case of a patient with melanoma who developed thyroid storm following treatment with ipilimumab and nivolumab. Case presentation An 85-year-old Japanese man with a history of malignant melanoma presented to our department with severe thyrotoxicosis and poor blood glucose control. He was already being treated for Hashimoto’s disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus before the treatment for the melanoma. During admission, laboratory investigations revealed the following thyroid functions: thyroid-stimulating hormone below sensitivity, free triiodothyronine 31.7 pg/ml, and thyroglobulin 48,000 IU/ml. Thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor antibody was negative, and a 99mTc-labeled thyroid scan revealed a markedly decreased uptake. He was treated with beta-blocker, orally administered potassium iodine, a relatively low dose of prednisolone, and insulin injection therapy to control his blood glucose, resulting in an improvement in thyroid function and his symptoms. Conclusion It might be important to be aware of the possibility of thyroid storm induced by immune checkpoint inhibitors
